What am I doing?” He was so scared to hurt someone his brother loves more than anything in the world, especially his nephew. So much that his last words were that he failed his family, his brother, his sister in law and their son, his nephew. God, I don’t know why, but seeing this scene makes me cry.

This Aunt May seems to be a genius inventor of some kind and considering the origins of Dock Ock in the comics, I think it's safe to say that in this universe May Parker's and Olivia Ock's origin are an inverse of Peter Parker's and Doctor Octavius' relationship. As in, Aunt May was genius inventor/scientist and Olivia was one of her students and like Peter and Octavius, they developed a friendship of mentor and pupil.

I absolutely LOVE the detail that the most powerful point in the song starts not when Aaron reveals himself, but rather when it shows Miles’ reaction. It just makes it feel so much more impactful, making us wonder what is spiraling through Miles’ head.
ACROSS THE SPIDER VERSE SPOILER!!: When Uncle Aaron said “I wanted you to look up to me” proves that Miles was supposed to be the prowler in that universe but he got bit by the spider from earth 42 which in that universe, miles is supposed to become Spider-Man but this one did instead so they switched places. He wanted miles to be the prowler like him which ended up well in earth 42 since there was no spider to bite earth 42 miles. (Hopefully that made sense)
There's one problem with that. I'm pretty sure that Earth 42 Miles becoming the Prowler had a lot to do with Jeff being dead. This means that Uncle Aaron would have taken the role of his main father figure and influence in life which leads to him becoming the Prowler. This obviously doesn't apply to the version of Miles in this video as his dad is still very much alive and probably wouldn't be at risk of dying due to a canon event if Miles was never bitten. So I don't think Miles would have become the Prowler even if he wasn't bitten.
This film hits so hard. It's a true masterpiece of artistry, drama and storytelling. It hits harder than 2 having seen it again. It has a complete narrative and it's so compelling and well rounded.

Prowler was less experienced with Peter B Parker. As you can see Prowler didn’t react fast to dodge Peter B. And the way Prowler flew out of the house is the same pose 1610 Peter Parker flew when he hit the collider
The way Prowler clenches his fists when Miles kicks him away and runs up the stairs always makes me think that he’s like, “Alright, I’m seriously done with this kid’s sh!t…”
This is why I can't wrap my head around Miles' father NEEDING to die. He already loses his Uncle, which achieves the same results the "canon" follows. The Spiderman loses a dear loved one, and thus causes them to head down the right path. Gwen's Peter is the loved one she loses, not her father. Aaron is Miles' loved one that dies. His father at this point would be an UNNECESSARY casualty. Thus Miguel being dead wrong to expect Miles to sit back and watch more of his family die for a canon event that has technically already passed.
As Miguel himself said: there's multiple canon events a Spider Man goes through. First, the bite. Next, the death of a loved one (so not always a family member) Finally, *the death of a police captain* . Mile's Father just so happened to be another loved one unfortunately. These 3 events happen consistently across each Spider Man.

This is where the karma goes really dirty on the proragonist. Miles Morales has been a victim during the whole scene. He discover the prawler, an ennemy, is actually his uncle, someone he really appreciate. The other spider mans doesn't seems to understand how hurtful that is to him and simply ask if he was followed. When his uncle decided to spare him and, we can predict, stop hunting down and help the spiders, he got killed instantly by Kingpin for letting him down. When he died, Miles got spotted by his father who doesn't know about his double identity and believe he was the one who killed his brother. That really sucks. He has no emotionnal support and every trash scenario that could happened is turning on him even if he hasn't done anything wrong. Later, he is considered as a criminal by Spiderman 2099 because he wasn't suppose to be spiderman in the first place. But none of this is his fault. He become spiderman by accident and all because of Kingpin's doing. If really everyone was against him... What is the point to go on anymore ? Being a total victime like that is not giving you any hope to have a normal life and even worse, some of them would not even believe that being alive is not worth it and rather cold themselves sooner than naturaly expected.

At that point, he has no idea whether his uncle is actually a decent guy or putting up a front. Part of the reason I say this is because of my own terrible personal experience, but in this particular case, Miles found out that his uncle was willing to attack and actively pursue and potentially kill a young Spider-Man not knowing his identity. For all he knows at that point, taking off his mask could've changed nothing. At that moment, the most rational and natural reaction is fear.
