    Hey everyone, an extra tip I've just figured out: The low res object will pull paint data from the nearest object. So, if you have a lot of objects in your scene, move the two image objects away from others to make sure paint data is pulled from the right thing. I was struggling with this for a while before figuring it out.

    Great tutorial, thank you! In I want to wrap the image around a cylinder, how can I do it without the mirroring on the back? It’s driving me crazy. Thank you in advance!

      Hmm, its probably something to do with Front Facing Vertices only (find that in your options)

    I have flattened a cylinder (with a thickness of lets say 2mm) and rotated its top to the front. I have fixed the object on its new front plane (and have locked its plane by pressing the front button) so it does not swivel back and forth. My Q: How can I lock my background reference picture of a boat's side view and align the cylinder object with it? I want to zoom in and trim off the unwanted parts. Is there a video in your tutorials for this technical task? Without locking the object and the reference image, I cannot cut away the excess parts precisely. I need to be able to really zoom in and rotate both the object and the image together to the right or left as I trim.

    one question: is there any way to remove 3D square box and retain only image and then save it as PNG or Jpg?

      I really like callipeg and Toonsquid! Both are really great 2D animation apps! I use Moho and Blender now though. But will go back to Toonsquid or callipeg if I’m on iPad.

      I’ll have to revisit it; nomad goes through periodical updates/changes so it’s not you it’s probably just something different in the app! 👍🏾

    Why is the corner of my image is cropped? All 4 corners are cropped. You have that fisheye effect on 3:01 but mine is cropped. Help...

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Check the settings with the little red circle (pencil icon, then where you can resize the crop) mine probably looks fish eye bc the crop is cut off there (red circle) to have it perfect put all corners of the image inside the red circle ⭕️- also check your fall-off settings, which will control opacity/shape of edges

      I was having the same issue and although I have reread your instructions and tried multiple times, I cannot find what red circle you are talking about. Edges are still cropped.@@drugfreedave

      Pretty sure this is an older version of nomad so it’s hard for me to tell exactly what’s happening. Usually if the edges are cropped or soft it’s a fall off, meaning somewhere in the settings of the image, it’s either squared or something is cutting off the edges.

      @@drugfreedave nevermind I wasn’t pressing remesh I’m so dumb😭😭 if it’s too much that’s okay but do you know have to have a different image on the opposite side ?
