Ive loved Stryper since 1985 when i was 13. I learned all there songs and playin a band that did some of their songs. Great memories. And i had to sing lead and olay guitar. So i know how talented Michael is.
So blessed to see Oz play again with the band. The Lord truly moves through their music, thank you for being a messenger of goodness and faith. God bless.
I've Always Loved there Message playing with my Band As lead vocalist and Guitar of A Band in the 90s from Cincinnati Ohio Character I Always Loved Listening Stryper God's Message . We Got Radio play On The National Circuit 96.ZRock unsigned 2week #1played The Best Is yet To Come .and I am willing to do.. still I Always Loved Listening Stryper God's Message.
Sadly, Michael had to admit he can no longer hit those high notes he was notorious for his entire career. They decided to tune down from E flat to D and make it easier for him to sing. But, if you watch till the end, right after To Hell with the Devil is over, he hit a prolonged high note. I think he wanted to show he is still capable, but maybe just not over the course of a long tour and many songs.
It is really sad, as a major Stryper fan since ‘85 every recent concert I see I’m waiting for those incredible notes we all know and love. But I truly understand. Thankfully Oz is back and Michael’s health is returning. 🙏
My favorite band ever!! I love the fact that they are still out there doing it... E flat...D...doesn't matter. Hell....I used to sing along to Stryper back in the 80's and hit the high notes too, now I sound like Lou Rawls! :D
Oz and Mike have always been so underrated as lead and rhythm guitarists (same is true for them as singers). I've been a fan of the band since discovering them in 1989 and no matter how many times I listen to the records or even watch a live gig online I'm always blown away by the level of talent. Sadly I have never had a chance to catch them live in person. It's still a bucket list dream!
@@Gee-no I did too, except I was 22. Went to the concord pavilion, in the east bay area, northern California. I went because Loudness was opening for them. I hadn't heard much about Stryper before that. They blew my mind. Sweet and Fox are a top ten rock guitar duo of all time.
Exactly. No midi tracks or recordings or click tracks. Just a band playing. We used to do some of their songs when I was a kid in a band. I did the Michael Sweet stuff and it was tough but fun. SOC and To Hell with the Devil were fun to play and sing. They always bring back great memories from my teen years.
I am so happy you uploaded this concert!! I was there but my seat was way over at the end of the row near the front so I could barely see that side of the stage. Watching on the monitors was fun but every time Robert's pedal hit the bass drum the monitor would vibrate shaking the picture... LOL. Great job filming, you could see almost every note they played on their guitars. Concerned about copyrights I posted on FB the times he was talking to the audience. Like I said, thank you and Great job!! (I'm kind of envious of where you were standing. LOL) I was kind of hoping they would play Honestly but when I saw the stage and there was no keyboard I knew that wasn't going to happen. My wife (who was with me) and I used that song as our wedding march 32 years ago. Been fans since 86..
Nothing like Oz and Michael's harmonies on both vocals and guitar. I love these guys! Stryper will always be one of my favorite bands. Michael is one of the most driven musicians I've seen my entire life. So many projects. The guy just doesn't stop. God has definitely blessed us with his musical talents.
Thank you for posting this ...Love Stryper .....❤️❤️ever since they came out...just recently saw them again few months ago ...looking forward to seeing again and again...they always put on an amazing show❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Whoever shot this nice job with a steady hand on the camera. Great quality sound. I'd hire you to do any movies if I made any which I don't but again nice STRYPER ROCKS 🤘😝
As always, Stryper puts on a great show. I am a little disappointed that they have left 'Yahweh' out of their most recent shows. That's one of my fave Stryper songs.
What a great show, solid audio and Michael's guitar playing sounds amazing in this video. When I saw them in Denver, I felt his guitar needed to be turned up a little like it seems it is here/
As a MASSIVE Death Metal Head AND LONG,LONG Time Stryper fan (since '84) my friends would ALWAYS (And STILL DO) Give me shit about them.. AND I STILL LOVE 'EM... NOTHING beats their Guitar tone on THWTD IMO... LOVE That MESA tone... THE BEST.

I've been a fan of Stryper for a long time! My favorite record is not even "Christian", AGAINST THE LAW! I was in one of their show a while ago, 2016 in The House of Blues in Orlando! The show was spectacular as always! 🤟
Really liking this tuned down sound, especially of their 80's hits, sounds so much more powerful and much more accessible for those of us that like to sing along to the songs, which was nearly impossible in the tunning they used to use back in the 80's (especially the IGWT album). The live harmonies even sound better because OZ and Perry don't have to strain to strain. Also appreciate how they are adding even more depth and soulful touches/arrangements to the transitions, drum lines, and guitar solos showing even more complexity that what is on the recorded versions.
Serious question: Was Michael born with 5 fingers and a thumb on his left hand, or was it surgically added, WOW, he is just an awesome guitar player, such great tone!
Man they just never cease to amaze me. Been a fan since the ‘80s & they still perform @ such a high level. Robert’s cymbals sound great! Pretty sure he’s back with Paiste & I’m here for it.
heard from them in the late 80ties early 90ties the first time... bought the the vinyls, when available in german record stores... love them still... yes, were getting old... thats life
Not the only band....but most def among the better examples of two guitar harmonies in time. Not an easy feat to do. Iron Maiden still holds the guitar harmonies award. Hands down. 🤘😔🎸
I first heard Stryper in 1983 at a church youth group event and was a rabid fan for many, many years. It blows my mind that they still sound this good.
They are tight! Perry was a great addition..his bass is thunder. Glad to see Oz doing well. It's astounding to see Robert pound the skins non stop in his 60s😮. I think they tuned down some songs for Michael.. can't hit those helium notes from 40 years ago..lol. overall they still rock your socks off for JESUS!!! 🥁🎸🙏🔥♥️
Stryper are incredible live and I love their songs! It is still so refreshing to hear their lyrics that give glory to our Lord and Savior Yeshua Hamashiach!!
In the mid 80's I saw Stryper at the weirdest venue. It was a building on the State Fair grounds where they held livestock auctions. Saw Alice Cooper and Tesla there as Robert Sweet's drum riser took up the entire stage. That thing was a beast.

Robert Sweet!....one of the biggest reason I love Stryper...the drumming!

Totally agree, we saw them in Nashville. Great show but missed hearing Yahweh.
Probably because "yahweh" isn't our Father's name. It's YeHoVaH
