Dan Alton has changed my ball striking immensely since you referred to him. Been releasing that way ever since. Increased distance , but especially accuracy. Thanks.
Good idea to check out, thanks Bill. Conventional coaching asks that the arms be straight thro the swing for a further yard or two to get the low point in the swing correct for the crisp contact. By folding the right arm way behind the ball, how do we ensure low point ahead of the ball and thus avoid fats and thins ? Thanks
Morning Bala, I think this brings up awareness to several things that may or could happen. One, what is a release and how many kinds of releases are there. Two, another point to consider is the straight right arm unit, if it straightens out too soon have you thrown away the angle that everyone talks about. Question is it really too soon? Answer is in , how many releases are there and how do they work differently from one another. One thing is for sure, one must find the bottom of their motion to be able to use the clubs dynamic loft correctly. That also can be done in different ways but the ways they are the same is simple. One's motion must be traveling toward the target side coming back to the ball. The best way to do so is VBG and the use of the principle which are required to be balanced. Stabilization, Stillness, Level, and of cource Neutral make up the perfect machines ability to be in balance during the motion. Thanks and find your sweet spot everyone has theirs and very few are the same!!
Hey Bill is your set up the same with the driver do you lean left with it, would like to see video of your full swing to watch your follow thru thanks. Ron
Driver is different only because the club is longer. I play the ball just inside my lead heel, I go into stabilization and my hands are now slightly behind the ball. Everything else is the same except ball position. Their are videos of me hitting drive on the channel/
Shaft lean is an oversold product 340. If you try to create it it will fail you each and Every time. Do yourself a favor, take an iron any iron to the kitchen table, place the sole of the club flush with the table top and look at the shaft. It will be leaning toward the target side or face side of the club. Theirs your shaft lean it already built into the club.

The hands will release in front of the zipper without thinking about it
And the club stands straight up like you said years ago. Most need a running start!
