...just being picky..."you missed one! Specifically, the plot of vector 'OA-OB' thus forming the 2nd parallelogram in the second diagram. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!
Is it wrong if i just want to show the position of a complex number if i ommit the straight line which connects the complex number with the origin (known as modulus)?
28 seconds isn't .28 minutes, it's 7/15ths of a minute, so it's actually 7.47 minutes (to 2dp, as that's then number of values we're given). The fact that I pointed this out, plus the fact that I'm here learning FP1 for no reason other than my own entertainment is why I'm so unbelievably surprised to actually have friends.
Not sure if I'm getting a response but that last part confuses me (I might have missed something so this may be a silly question but I'm not sure ?) -- it says that line BA = BO + OA but is also equal to OA - OB. From the left side, we can see that BO + OA = -1 + 3i and on the other side, OA - OB = 7 + i so how can both of them equal to the same "length" if -1 + 3i =/= 7 + i ??
Hi, I think you will find that you have missed the point as both are different and will not be the same length. On the left (in the first example) I give the result that O to C is -1 + 3i and on the right (second example) that B to A is 7 + i. This is to show the addition rule and subtraction rules of complex numbers and how they behave similar to vectors.
Oh I see, great! I appreciate the reply, it did clear my confusion in this part of the vid. Other than that, I found this (and the rest of your videos that I've watched) easy to follow, thanks!
Watching it at 1.25 speed. Desperate times
Thanks for the idea

Always wonder the relationship between vectors and complex numbers! This video has clarified all my doubts. Thank you so much!
thank you so much for taking the time out to help. jazakAllah wa yahdikumullah!
Hey
Best explanation out there!
Nope
Wow. Man you need to become a teacher. Thanks man
So clear! Great job!
Thank you
Wow I understand argand diagrams so much better
Fantastic!
Thank you...wel done
You are the best !!
best work ExamSolutions
Thanks
i have a diagram with my name lmao
Argand no u r sombra
I've heard of people seeing their names in word problems but dude has a whole chapter dedicated to him.

GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!
Thanks for this woonderful 7.28 mins .. Thanks
very clear and helpful thank you
Nice and easy explain.
nice easy pace
thanks for the tutorial chicha
awesome keep up the good work!!!!!!
where are the circle and perpendicular bisector locus?
Thank you for this video :)
So complex numbers don’t add like vectors unless from the get go we GIVE the Z line a DIRECTION correct?!
Had this been explained to me the way you explained it, I would've gotten it. Ah well, better late than never. Thank you so much for your help :)
I am pleased to hear that you have now got it. Best wishes.
Oh my God ARMY is also here☺️🙂🙂
You make this crystal clear. Pardon the pun, why does my textbook make this simple concept so complex?
Bcs it's complex number
I've question, you did z1+z2=-1+3i
Why did you start from origin.? Why didn't start from -1. Please explain me.
Its not vetically up or horizontal, its the distance from origin thats it
Brilliant.
What about z = π + ei
How to put it in complex plan
Please answer
thanks
thank you so much!
You're welcome
You're great 😊 Keep it up

@cmdcs1 Yes, unlikely to be before June though

what is the rule to put the arrow ???
nice
Anyone else here before their A level exam?😂

magnificent !!!!!
Why do the z’s have “direction” ?!
Do some edexcel exam types question

@@ExamSolutions_Maths plz
why did you start from origin for Z1+ Z2 at 3:23
oh nevermind that was a dumb question i get it now
@@izzah310 That's good.

Lose ur friends yet?
Here, we give a bar over Z to show that's the conjugate just like the ones we write over some repeating numbers like, 0.123123123....
WHY IS VECTOR BO = THE NEGATIVE OF VECTOR OB ?!
if z1+z2 = -1+3i the why u started from the origin???

O represents the Origin I believe, but ya 0 would suffice.

float well, a professional one... That made no sense as you taught me heaps in a short period.
