Thank you Will! I found it very educational. I am new to keeping timber rattlesnakes. I have a legally tagged 44 in male yellow phase from Pennsylvania so I am turning to you, Tyler Nolan and Chandlers wildlife for advice. I watch all your videos I really enjoy your educational content. I also plan to keep a copperhead if all goes according to plan when I go hunting this weekend. The only way I can have a timber or copperhead in Pennsylvania is if it is wild caught and I have a tag for it. But I can keep elapids without any kind of permit. No questions asked LOL what a odd law

Incredible. Both snakes are beautiful. I like that you work with them when you have time so they don’t get so stressed out when you have to remove them from their home to clean it etc. and I think that makes handling safer for you. I looked at your Patreon account. Really nice. I will join soon. This was a terrific video.

Im recovering from a timber bite that I got 10/6/19 picking up some trash in a elderly mans yard. I went to pick up a box and a neo nate bit me on the finger. Im glad to finally be on the mend.

Man thank you for making this video. One of my friends didn't believe me when I told him that it was the same snake. But then soon after he started telling me that his momma said. I just guessed that she said that gators were mean cause they had all those teeth and and no tooth brush. Lol. We do live in Louisiana and I own a Canebrake or timber rattlesnake. I caught her when she had just hatched and was almost all white. So I brought her home and kept her now for 13yrs now. But my buddy tried to tell me that the Timber was way more aggressive and got a tad bigger. I just found this video and handed it to him to watch. Thanks again.

Hi Will, Loved watching you and your rattlers tonight. Informative too. It was cool go learn something new today Thanks!
All you animals are beautiful and I can tell by their actions, they are trusting of you, and surprised me a little being so chill.
I have a question for you since you work with many. many animals that are carnivorous. Do you think or know if the hormones in the feeders effects the eaters? Just had to ask as the other day it was butts, nuts, feet, and tail, It made me laugh :)
Your collection is freaking amazing. If I ever make it to FL, I will come see a show.Watch your head inside those gators mouths.
Thanks for the cool rattlesnake show tonight.

I always try to watch all the ADs on your videos, since right now I dont TH-cam Red right now. I hope they are letting you monetize from your videos. I know TH-cam has been randomly demonetizing a lot of peoples videos for the dumbest reasons. I'm sure all your live videos get demonetized because of how weird TH-cam is. Happy you made your own channel and we can get a more in depth everyday Video kind of Vlog style! You, Chandler, & Tyler should all start a site like TH-cam called " *SnakeTube* " that you can post your videos on. All other snake handlers of course could come post on there too lol. All run by you guys though so no weird rules. I know if you do go live Twitch would be a better place probably considering they don't take over 35% of your super chats & any donation.

Rattlesnakes!!!!! I absolutely love rattlesnakes and I think they r so beautiful. The rattle sound that they display is so ominous and beautiful at the same time. I’ve been meaning to ask u, r the snakes really aggressive or r they more defensive?? I’ve never really seen a snake go after a person or chase it down, most snakes try to escape and evade and get away. So I was just wondering, great vids Will!!!!! Love all the hard work, dedication and time u spend making quality content as well as educating everybody and all of it is much appreciated!!!!!💚🐍💚🐍💚

    • @WillNace

Its amazing to see how some Snakes evolved into have Fangs & Venom or being so big they can strangle their prey to death. It seems like a lot of Snakes didn't get neither of those, even tho some non-venomous snakes will constrict their prey to death as well, like how a Black Snake will constrict a rat. Weird how they didn't evolve venom glands to easier catch their prey.

I heard Chandler say something about a Green Mamba one time!! Is it true you guys were going to get one? I know he moved his animals to the Outpost but would you still be looking into getting one? Would love to see you handle a Mamba! They are by far one of the most dangerous snakes when it comes to handling. I've seen a *Black* Mamba chase people around their Snake Rooms. Its scary as all hell. The *Green* Mambas seem to be way more relaxed, its a night and day difference between the two. *Green* Mambas are beautiful as well, I love seeing how well they can climb things. Hopefully we get to look forward to seeing you work with one. I know you said your sister has a lot of snakes and helps you out a lot, does she have any Mambas? Would love to finally see her, & the snake room.

Hopefully I can get it outta the pinky phase soon because the only pinkies I can readily get are frozen. I’ll force feed if I have too, but only as a last resort.

Its super rare to see a RattleSnake or any Snake that is wild caught act so well behaved, only after a couple weeks with people. Like you said it is like you have a special connection or bond with the Snake. Most Snakes that are wild caught like that one would of been striking at you non-stop when holding him that close, you could never do that with a wild caught 95% of the time.

Beautiful snakes , that rattle must be one of the most distinctive and frightening sounds in nature. I always think of Rattlers as the gentlemen and women of snakes as they are considerate enough to give us ample warning they are around ❗️. It’s strange how we are drawn to a particular species , Will loves his Rattlers for example , my personal favourites are the King Cobra , and Gaboon vipers . However I would never be brave enough to own a ‘ Hot’ . I will stick with my Corn snakes 🤣

Here in Georgia with have both Timbers and Canebrakes. Up in N Ga there are only Timbers which are usually more dark colored and sometimes even black but down in S Ga from around Macon on down south we have Canebrakes which are much more light colored very different from Timbers and have orange pinks and lavender colors and I find get much fatter and bigger than the Timbers. Both are badass but I like the Canebrakes better just because they are more colorful and are bigger!!

I’ve got one in my shed here at Carolina Beach it’s about 6 foot long and nice and fat. It’s not a pet it just lives in the shed I think it’s a female and it maybe getting ready to bare some little Vipers.
Last year I relocated a Coral snake that was in my garden.
I live on the beach and New Hanover County has all of the Vipers especially Pigmy Rattlers , Canebrakes & Diamond Backs. In spring you can ride the River Road at night and they are on the Road because of the heat.
You catch everything in one night if it’s a cool night.

Start small with a boa, or maybe corn snake. If you are already super knowledgeable about the species, there are mentors out there to help people just like you. I'm sure Will could maybe tell you. Find a good group on facebook perhaps. Good Luck!

Don't let anything that is said here force u into doing anything different than the way u want to or have always done it, safety first will. Think first, then think again. Don't get bit.

Were I'm from (north central Florida) we have a LOT of canes, my dad killed one a couple months ago and then we saw one about two weeks ago. He wanted to kill it but I convinced him to call his buddy who is a game warden, when he got there me and him moved the snake into a trashcan and relocated it to a state park, they are beautiful although if I see it while I'm walking imma freak out a little. Awsome video like always.

Hi Will and thank you- beautiful photography and so informative- your passion shines through. The sound of the rattlesnake is one of the most scary and heartstopping things to hear. I also find the eyes of the rattlesnake a warning, as opposed to the friendlier python or intelligent king cobra- have a good weekend- best wishes
