It was usually inspectors from other garages that I saw and talked to but even that was very rare. Done on purpose, to avoid any working unpleasantness, I guess? It did not always end well either. Especially when the passengers sided with the driver. They would not allow most of the incidents and experiences I saw, especially these days.

why cant todays comedy be as good as on the buses and all of the other old classics
A real classic! British comedy at its best.
