Failing levers no, but I have seen very crappy feeling and the adjustors either getting seized or too lose. Precisely what you said, the problem is the hardware that it comes with. Most people won't change it. And more often than not some of the cheap levers that people purchase have not been properly finished with a smooth frontal area and it will make you lose feeling.
Correct, I should have said, some are slightly better than others! These seem on the upper end of the scale. Also eventually the anodised finishing can wear off and then they look horrible! They are serving a purpose for now, I fancy trying the womet ones too when they are available by me again. Thanks for the comments 👍
