During SIXTEEN, JYP himself talked about what he values in an idol (besides the obvious skills), and he said the main three things he's looking for is Honesty, Integrity and Humility.
And I feel like all the members of Twice really follow or fit into that. They practice a LOT you can tell by the improvements, which shows integrity in the practice room, they're honest about themselves (they don't seem fake), and they're very humble even in the face of their success.
They're just good people!

Jeongyeon is a super kind girl (although also a jokester), but she has no problem speaking up when she feels like it. You can mostly see that in variety shows and such because she's suuuper honest even though the setting is somewhat constricting. Also, lately she has been talking very honestly about fan's concerns on bubble (like about something being cancelled and why, why they chose this or that venue, etc)
Tiny anecdote: back when twice started hosting fansigns, it was common (in kpop) for fans to stand up or kneel while the girls signed the albums. Jeongyeon saw there weren't chairs for the fans and said "Twice will only sit if Once sit too" so they stood up during the whole fansing. From then onwards they always have had chairs in fansigns.
The chair thing should be talked about more, it says so much about TWICE and once. And I love how Jeongyeon is not afraid of anything, she spoiled there was no fanmeeting in October because office worker onces would be wasting their yearly vacation. She's the sweetest.

Jeongyeon is a person who will not stand by when something is wrong. Not in a totally bad way but she does really speaks her mind even if it makes their company not look good (image?) to others lol. Recently she said “i’ve received many love calls from directors to do a mini role & cameo roll but the company stopped it” basically her sister is an actress Gong seungyeon and yeah jype been rejecting acting roles offers to Jeonyeon. lol

@@mayranovaes2460 On bubble ☺️ you can probably look up the translation on some twice translation accounts. She also clearly said she wanted to do it, but she did day the company kind of stopped it. Even just a small cameo appearances in Her sister’s drama was rejected by jype.
If something bothers Jeongyeon, she speaks up about it. She talks about how the company forced her to have that boy-ish haircut despite not liking it. She was also very mad at the company when she heard they forced Momo to lose 15lbs in one week. She spoke up about how the company doesn’t let her do any acting roles. She mentioned how she didn’t like her outfits for “Feel Special”. Also how the company made her perform their hardest choreography even though she had a neck injury (which caused her condition to get worse and then she had to go on hiatus from the group… But she is back now 🥰)
Jeongyeon, however, is a very sweet and kind woman. She cares a lot about her members and is seen as the “mother” of the group. She’s really funny and always makes me laugh in their content. When she was on hiatus, their interviews and other content were just not the same without her 😣
I love how you always point something out about her in your reactions to TWICE. I love how you appreciate her vocals since they’re so underrated even though she is a lead vocalist in the group.

Twice fan here who's loving these videos! I started off as an Army (still am!) but Twice hooked me years ago and I've been enjoying the ride ever since. I think one thing that really took me by surprise but also made me love them is, like they were saying in the video, the girls aren't afraid to stand up for themselves. The more time they've spent in the industry (7 years at this point!) the stronger they've become, not just in terms of performance but personality too. It's been a joy to watch them grow from nervous rookies with so much to prove to a record breaking group with so much experience and wisdom under their belt.
They're not afraid to reminisce about harsh trainee times on camera, they speak their mind and tell the company what style they want now and what songs they want on their album, as well as writing most of them. Their personalities comes through in the music not just because of the visuals, but because it is very much them behind it all. Cry for Me was a song the company initially rejected as a title track, but Nayeon pushed for it and they released it, which I'm delighted she did as it's one of my favorites. Jeongyeon too, is a very straightforward personality. For serious situations, such as during 2018 when the girls were having a hard and tiring year Jeongyeon went on Instagram to talk about the struggle. And also for fun, like when they went on vlive and couldn't drink beer so she yelled over the sounds of cans opening and lied very badly about it being energy drinks. (The stressed managers called them 10 minutes in but onces had a great laugh) They carry so much power in jype that they're able to be very open with fans, and they're so genuinely sweet too. Their teamwork is fantastic not just because of how much trust they have in Jihyo to lead them (She is the backbone of Twice) but also how much respect they have for each other. No one's ego overshadows the group, and they click so well not only did they renew their contracts, but they still live together.
A lot of groups can say they're family but with Twice it's undeniable. They're so close that their actual families eat meals and go on camping trips together. The easiest example of their familial bond is how protective they are of Tzuyu, the youngest. Even back as trainee days Jihyo and Jeongyeon looked out for her, with Jihyo inviting her over for the holidays since Tzuyu was alone. But every single member would not hesitate to fight someone if they disrespected Tzuyu. Even Momo, who's usually quite shy and quiet with anyone who isn't Twice, got furious at a manager who said Tzuyu wasn't allowed to change her hairstyle. (One week later Tzuyu had bangs and the girls were delighted haha). The girls are naturally hilarious and incredibly talented, and they have a huge range of enjoyable songs, but it's the love they have both for each other and for fans that really cemented it for me as a Once.
I need to give a special shout out to my favourite Chaeyoung. From the very beginning on Sixteen she was never afraid to be herself. She was one of the younger ones but became such a huge threat due to her all rounder ability. (Singing, dancing, and especially rapping. She was writing raps every week to perform on the show and she killed it every time.) But as well as talent she has a motto of "Kind but not soft", and it shows. She's one of the more chill members to the point where the others like to joke that a common phrase she uses is "That's fine." But she never hesitates to speak her mind and refuses to let the industry compromise her individuality. Right from the first episode of Sixteen she was like "Isn't this too cruel?", she cut her hair without telling the company (the members were supportive and said she looked very cool, but they were also amazed at how fearless she was considering she was only 17 at the time). She's been vocally supportive of LGBT rights, and asked to perform Born This Way by Lady Gaga on tour. She got multiple tattoos to the point where it's a fandom joke that the stylists are running out of tape trying to cover them all for the broadcast. She's very kind, sweet and encouraging, but she will never let people walk all over here. The members have expressed their admiration for her over the years, both for her personality and attitude and for her multiple talents, such as composing, drawing, song-writing and poetry.

As a documentary I will recommend you to watch '' TWICE SEIZE THE LIGHT'' it's quite recent, made in 2020 and it's short like 10eps only, there is Also ''TIME TO TWICE'' which is a Twice series they released with a diffrerent theme and mood. There is Also ''TWICE ELEGANT PRIVATE LIFE'' as an older reality Twice show and finally ''SIXTEEN'' which is the survival show which created Twice.
i know i might sound cringy but Twice is like a family😭their bond is so inspiring and their musics always give me my daily serotonin.
Jeongyeon isn't afraid to speak her mind, even before debut. While they were filming "Sixteen" she said a lot of times how cruel the show was, in 2018 they had 4 comebacks and they were exhausted coming back and forth between Korea and Japan and Jeongyeon filmed a video where she said how tired and absolutely exhausted they were but she was doing her best to keep their spirits up so she ended up buying them all a present to make them feel better, she also always talks on Bubble (like a messaging service where fans can talk to the girls if you pay) about why they make certain decisions or complains about things.
One thing that surprised me and keeps surprising me is how after 7 years in the industry they still keep evolving and getting better and better. Their voices have grown so much over the years (especially Sana's and Tzuyu's, in my opinion) and now they have more creative control as their are composing and writing lyrics for most of their songs.
Jeongyeon is a very caring person and it’s basically Twice’s mother 😊 to see this I want to recommend “Jeongyeon, the guardian of twice” but really, they are all such amazing and loving people please watch “the golden heart of twice” ❤

Jeongyeon is considered the caretaker of the group, and is very considerate of her members’. She shields them when travelling through busy airports and crowds, she covers their legs when they’re sitting down to make sure they’re not revealing anything, fixes their clothes to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions, and is generally pretty protective of any weird comments the girls get. She’s always the first to come to twice’s defence, and tends to put her members’ needs above her own without second thought.
What I assume the guide is referring to specifically when they mention that she’s not afraid to speak out, is that Jeongyeon has always been very vocal even when the topic she’s talking about may come across as controversial. When she feels as if someone is being wronged in any aspect, she speaks her mind regardless of any repercussions she may face.
A clear example of this is when Momo retells a story of her trainee days, where the company told Momo she needed to lose 7kg within a week. Momo mentions how she went without food for several days and worked out to the point where she thought she might not wake up again, and despite being on a live stream with their managers present in the room, Jeongyeon blasted the staff involved. She then went on to say that before the staff demand such drastic weight loss, they should try it themselves first and see how they like it. In the same live, when recalling that the company told her she was 0.1kg overweight during her trainee days too, she stormed out and almost left the company for good. She’s also been very publicly defensive of Nayeon, calling out a prolific stalker of hers and going as far to threaten action against him herself if he continues to attempt contact.
She has also blasted the survival show sixteen for how cruel and damaging it was to all the girls involved.
It’s always so nice to see someone fall in love with Twice because you already know how much happiness they’re gonna bring, and I’m truly excited for you to get to know them 😄

As a veteran ONCE I thought I’d help you out a little since I always feel like those guides lack a lot of information and don’t really show off all sides of the girls individually and as a group; Honestly the best way to get to know them is to watch their Vlives, their most recent reality show TIME TO TWICE and their old reality show TWICETV which has multiple seasons of them traveling.
If you want a much more serious and professional look at their work and professionalism you can also watch Twice: Seize the Light, a TH-cam documentary on their first World Tour in 2019.
It’s by seeing those day-to-day moments that you’ll get a real look at their personalities and the unbreakable bond they’ve created over the past 7 years.
The family they form is what in my opinion makes them so special, JYP really created the best thing ever by putting these 9 girls together.
Witnessing that bond is what will completely make you fall in love with them, and also because they’re humble, talented, considerate, absolutely HILARIOUS crackheads - I’ve had some of the biggest laughs of my life watching them.
There isn’t a single pairing that doesn’t work in Twice, they all have singular relationships within the group. And you realize how important each member is when one of them is missing. Even as the shyest member, Mina’s absence during her hiatus could be felt big time, and the girls didn’t lose a single occasion to remind everyone that TWICE is 9 members, and that none of them are replaceable or forgotten, and are in fact incredibly missed when not there.
Same thing happened when Jeongyeon went on hiatus, they always found a way to include her either by mentioning her or by carrying around a plush that represented her.
Their support for each other was also perfectly demonstrated in the way they cheered and supported Nayeon during the making and promotion of her solo album.
Their love for each other as grown exponentially with time and them becoming adults, struggling with adult problems and learning to lean and trust each other through the hard times. They’re a true family, and we, their fans, are part of it too.
The extra care they put in showing their gratitude and love towards the fandom is insane. As a Once you truly feel seen and you realize that we’re as important to them as they are to us.
I’ll also add that Twice is one of the most beloved and respected group in the industry because they’re always kind and respectful of all the crew and staff they encounter. They always show impeccable professionalism while never losing their cheerful and bright character.
You add to all that incomparable beauty, great music and crazy talent, you got yourself the best girl group in the world.

There's this one time, I think it's on a live, Momo said that some people at the agency asked her to lose at least 7kg ( maybe I'm wrong) -in a week. Jeongyeon was obviously shocked and say if they could do it themselves because it's too impossible.
What actually happened was that the company was having an event while the girls were trainees. Momo wanted to participate but there was a weight limit. So she starved herself for a week or so. Surviving only on ice cubes

It is long and detailled for all members and really perfect for anyone wanting to get to know the members if you've only been on board the TWICE journey for a short time.
Even I, that followed them since sixteen, loved watching it for nearly an hour as it really well done.
I would say that the biggest surprise to me was Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon is a menace. She likes to prank and joke around with the members the most which was quite different from what I expected. I thought she would be the serious unnie of the group but she is the opposite.
Chaeyoung having a badass side to her was also very unexpected but I guess I should have realized that when I heard her nickname was baby beast or baby lion.
Nayeon's personality was not as much of a surprise for me but I would never have believed she was the oldest based on their behind the scenes content and reality show episodes. She is just so bubbly and chill and goofy.
Ooh. And ditzy Momo. That was a big surprise for me as well.
Fun fact: Mina might be the *most* introverted, but actually 8/9 Twice members are introverts according to their MBTI, haha. The only extrovert in the group is Sana! (Though Jihyo has gotten both I and E results for the MBTI so she might be considered an extrovert as well, or maybe an ambivert?)
Jeong has already said how the company discarded the songs and lyrics that she made even though they were complete and the members liked it, you saw in the video how she didn't like that the company ""suggested"" and ""preferred"" her in a more 'tomboy'. And how she never let herself follow one of her dreams, which was to act.
Another thing is how she criticizes some comeback choices, recently she said "This time I liked this one (Talk That Talk) different from the last one (Scientist), and even more recently about the leak that Josh (Nayeon's damn stalker) had gotten her number and was talking to Jeongyeon about bringing him closer to Nayeon.
She said she would "deal" with him.
There's more, we see that Jeongyeon more than all the members cares about making everyone comfortable and happy, always putting them first, TWICE and Once were always her priority even if it cost her mental and physical health.
So sad
By Jeongyeon speaking the truth, she's very blunt. Whenever there is something troubling them during press events, fan signing, lives, she always says things that a kpop idol normally would not share in public like complaints and ridiculous requests that they make for them and she shuts them down and speaks her truth and doesn't hide anything else.
What surprised me most about Twice was how genuine they are on and off camera. Because let’s be real, not every group/idol is what they appear to be on screen. But through their Vlives, it was so clear to me that they’re the real deal. Even on shows like Idol Human Theater you would almost think they were just hanging out as usual because they’re so relaxed and cracking jokes. Their strong bond with each other is beautiful. And I know others have already said it but go watch Guardian of Twice. Jeongyeon is the reason I became a Once and she’s my forever bias 💚

Jeongyeon is just very honest, she's definitely the type to fight for her loved ones. It goes from showing the stye(?) in her eye two months after their debut in a live stream (something unheard of) over talking about Twice's struggles openly to exposing their company's schemes. Actually Nayeon is the one to push the company to do something though, she's probably the most straight forward to the point where she's unable to do small talk (her words).
I’ve been a Once since the very beginning. And honestly when they debuted we didn’t really know if they would hit it big, especially because JYP wasn’t doing so well back then. At the time, the success that they found with Cheer Up and then TT was unprecedented for a girl group in K-pop. They broke record after record. What really catches my eye is that they still have the same attitude that they had in their rookie days and they have a genuine bond that goes beyond just being groupmates. They have made enough money and worked hard enough that they would be set for life, they had absolutely no need to renew their contracts this year, but JYP really struck gold because all 9 are really passionate about being artists and musicians and not just idols or celebrities. They are very honest in the way they communicate with Once, and that’s very refreshing in the idol industry. Chaeyoung literally fought with the higher ups at JYP because she wanted to sing Lady Gaga’s Born This Way on tour (which openly references supporting LGBT+ in the lyrics), Jeongyeon was open about “not being able to hide the fact that she was tired” in a 2018 TH-cam video, Mina was the first prominent idol to take a hiatus for mental health and specify her condition (anxiety disorder) and that really sparked up a conversation on mental health in Korea, both Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon openly called out Nayeon’s stalker on social media in multiple occasions, Jihyo called out the company on live stream for making Momo go through a fad diet, among many other examples. Twice built a bulletproof brand on their honesty, friendship and strong work ethic.
I've been a once for 6 years now and it still surprised me how humble and kind they are. There has been multiple instances where different staff have said Twice has been the nicest and most down to earth celebrities they've ever worked with. It's just heartwarming to know they're kind people even behind closed doors.
I was a casual listener for years and only now I have truly started to appreciate Twice. What surprised me the most, was how humble they are. I think what I was quite touched by when I was just discovering Twice was that Mina is a registered organ donor in both Japan and South Korea, which honestly tells me so much about her.

Because you wanted some details about how exactly members like Jeongyeon and Nayeon are speaking the truth. I don't have any specific moment in mind right now, but I remember when Twice were on a variety show the host asked which member would be the most likely to speak up to their boss Park Jinyoung if something was wrong, and all the members pointed at Nayeon. Because she's really honest and tend to speak what's on her mind, as the oldest member I feel like Nayeon is kinda like a vice captain or leader, along with Jeongyeon who is really protective and Jihyo the leader tends to rely on them.
Jeongyeon has all the beautiful qualities in this world!! The most beautiful, strongest, purest woman I have ever seen🤍

Our fearless leader. Like said in the guide, Jihyo is definitely the voice of Twice, the mama in charge, the glue of the group.
She earned the nickname “God Jihyo” because she’s the voice of reason, the carries the wisdom and determination to keep this group of nutties focused, and trust me that’s not a simple task. Her 10 years as a trainee before her debut gave her the gift of experience and the members rely a lot on her strength. She’s also very protective of the girls and takes her role as leader at heart. She’s often in charge of cohesion and makes sure that the group as a whole as well as each girl individually is doing okay.
She’s incredibly competitive, games bring out her darkest side.
Her energy is unmatched when performing, she gives her all, always.

Sweet sweet sweet Minari. Don’t let her quietness and elegance fool you, Mina is actually a smol penguin geek. Behind her quiet façade hides a kind soul and avid gamer who has perfected the best that homebody culture has given us: knitting, legos, Minecraft, and Netflix.
While being the shyest, Mina is also one of the most easily relatable members. Her delicate yet endearing personality makes her one of the most beloved by member. The need to protect and care for her is strong within the group.
She will also sometime literally lose her shit and go do a crazy dance or say something that will make the girls laugh out loud.
Mina shows her affection through gifts that she carefully crafts herself.
During their first world tour Mina had to go on hiatus due to extreme anxiety. JYP showed that with that decision they cared about their artist’s mental health which then wasn’t talked about much within the industry.

Dahyun 🦅
Little Dubu (meaning “tofu” because she’s so pale and smooshi) is by far the most unique character of the group. Much like Sana, Dahyun is also a little ball of happiness and laughter. Her gimmicks are the number one source of entertainment in Twice. No one has ever made me laugh like she has. The number of iconic moments she carries is crazy.
She’s a born entertainer.
While very active on camera, Dahyun is actually calm and quiet behind them. Like a lot of Twice members, she has that duality about her.

Chaeyoung 🐯
Little baby beast. While being one of the youngest and cutest members, Chaeyoung is in my opinion the most fearless. She’s a true artist, a woman of culture, with a mind wide open to the world and all it has to offer. She often goes against the inherent conservative culture of her own country by for example supporting the LGBTQ+ community, promoting foreign artists, or getting tattoos all over her body.
While being a free spirit, Chaeyoung is still very much one of the two babies of the group, and acts and is treated as such. Her small figure and pouting face will make you want to carry her around on your back. Her openness and chill personality are beloved amongst the

Tzuyu 👽
Always in a tie with Mina for the quietest member title, Tzuyu is actually a savage in disguise. Her dark humor and perfectly timed one liner will make you laugh so hard.
As the maknae, she’s pretty much free to take a shot at all members though she prefers to attack the eldest ones. She also has a way of being effortlessly funny, just by making a certain face or letting a silence drag too long.
Tzuyu rarely acts like the maknae, but it matters very little to the members who still see her as such. Often unsure about what to say or how to act when put on the spot, Tzuyu can always count on one of her unnies to help her out.
Tzuyu worked hard to improve over the years, often insecure about her performance, she pushed through and can now sing and dance confidently.

Since you asked about the members speaking up. Another amazing thing about Twice is that despite always staying kind, they are never afraid to speak their mind and they are very honest. Jeongyeon and Jihyo are usually the ones who step forward in talking to fans whenever there's an issue, comforting us and hearing our concerns. I remember in particular Jihyo comforting fans the first year Twice didn't win the any major award at MAMA, and Jeongyeon this year trying to reassure us the company was aware about Nayeon's stalker (a whole big issue I don't recommend looking into, but it's incredible Jeong talked about this) and even discussing with honesty what fans didn't like about the JYPE's management. Not to mention how open she and Mina have been about their hiatus due to anxiety issues. Nayeon is usually the member who stands up and talks to the company whenever members have a request or an issue, she's never afraid to be Twice's spokesperson and get the girls what they want. Chaeyoung, Sana, and Momo have also often been straightforward in calling out either fans or the company when something wasn't right. Sana and Nayeon have called out fans who tried to tell them what to do or talk about in live streams. Chaeyoung is famous for being honest and straightforward, and once made a very serious public post on Instagram against a person leaking her phone number. Momo explained to Tzuyu that she should be able to do what she wants with her looks regardless of what the company thinks, and then proceeded to scold the company for preventing Tzuyu to do so. These are just examples but there's more.

The most surprising thing is how down to earth they are, they are incredibly sweet and kind even staff at music shows have praised them as humble and sweet
And for individual members I was really surprised and it’s an ongoing internal joke in the fandom that Dahyun even though she’s incredibly outgoing on camera she’s extremely private and introverted off camera
And for my ult Mina, she is shy and introverted but she’s extremely dorky, the members said she’s more talkative in private with them… she has said that for her is hard to express her feelings through words, but the members themselves say she takes care of them in very subtle ways quietly

One thing that really gets me about twice is that the way they were created, they split so perfectly into friendships.
Nayeon, Jihyo and Jeongyeon gave been together for *years*. To the point that they were supposed to debut as a part of a different group together, prior to Sixteen.
Mina, Sana and Momo are the Japanese members, who were close to each other even before Sixteen and wanted to debut together. Sana and Momo came to Korea together!
And then you have Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, who were the youngest members of the group and were still in school when they joined Twice, and hence had each other to rely on.
Something that also surprised me when I first became a Once is that Dahyun is one of the more private members about her personal life. It’s hard to find out even what music she likes because she only really ever suggests Twice music.
Whats amazing but also weird is that they are super humble to a point that they are relatable and do not come off like superstars even tho they are 😁 i love them.
I would suggest watching one of the "Time To Twice" episodes xxx It really shows their hilarious, fun and competitive personalities, especially Nayeon and Jihyo's, I would suggest maybe their karaoke one or the "yes or no" one, both are absolutely hilarious and show all of their goofy sides

I only discovered Twice and kpop as a whole last summer and they are undoubtedly my favorite girl group. I was a fan of punk and metal for most of my life but ive been going through stuff and needed a change, something light and wholesome and Twice does exactly that for me. I listen to other groups but this one is the only girl group where im that invested in knowing more about each member and watch their vlogs and social media posts. I love them like theyre my little cousins and im so proud every time they do something new

You can compare jeongyeon to amber from f(x). Very open about herself and speaks the truth always. Cares about the members the most. Which is why she was chosen second when voting for the leader in sixteen from all trainees. She's the mother together with jihyo. One of the most emotional things she has done was when she went live and cried in the most heartbreaking way cuz she was just feeling so bad for all her members who are all tired and worked out. She has a golden heart. She takes care of all the members. Which is why all 8 members feel the most comfy and safe with Jeong. Mina who is shy and not talkative, smiles around Jeong a lot. She was on hiatus for a very long time cuz of her herniated disk on her neck. She was performing more&more even tho her neck was hurting her a lot. She has gone into hiatus since then. Once she was back, she was fat shamed. Which gave her extreme anxiety and went into Hiatus again. She is the sweetest angel on this earth. So selfless and kind even if she loves bullying her members(especially jihyo LMAO). She had a lot of anxiety attacks in their recent concert but the members all supported her and helped her. Jeongyeon was shaking on her first appearance after her hiatus on a event and jihyo noticed and held her hand tightly. Jihyo nayeon and Jeong have been friends for over 10 years now. Their bond is really strong. All 9 have a strong bond together which is why they are so loved. They aren't fake. They care about each other a lot :) I love jeongyeon to the moon and back and would praise her to anyone whenever I can. She only deserves the best in this world.

Here's some extra facts for each member:
Nayeon: Her nickname is the "fake maknae" since despite being the oldest, she often acts the youngest.
Jeongyeon: She picked and legally changed her name as a kid because her birth name got her picked on for sounding like a boy's name.
Momo: Momo was one of the two eliminated contests on SIXTEEN that was brought back at the end, and in fact she was actually eliminated earlier in the show, not at the very end unlike Tzuyu. JYP personally decided to bring her back, feeling she got unlucky with the circumstances of her elimination, and that it would be a shame not to include her given her skills.
Sana: Sana is very gifted in languages, and picked up Korean the fastest/easiest of all the foreign members, giving her the nickname "Kim Sana". It would be difficult to talk a mile a minute like she can if she weren't so good with the language.
Jihyo: When they mentioned "long training period", they meant ten years. Jihyo trained with JYPE for ten years before debuting. This also means that she is quite familiar with a number of her JYPE sunbaes. She was originally meant to be an actress.
Mina: Mina's introverted nature is such that other members have said that she could probably be happy just spending all day in her room just browsing on her phone without even leaving her bed. Also extra fact, she was born in Texas (although her family moved back to Japan shortly after).
Dahyun: Despite being extremely energetic on camera, she has been noted to be markedly more subdued in private. That viral eagle dance is from well before Twice though, so I suppose she's always been a natural showman.
Chaeyoung: Earlier in their career, before they had as much clout/autonomy, she once got her hair cut against the wishes of the company. Bit of a rebel, this one. She's also got some tattoos which aren't typical in east asian countries, especially for women, double especially for idols.
Tzuyu: In the first year of their debut she was given a Taiwanese flag to wave on a variety show, and subsequently got dragged through the mud in Chinese social media and news. The situation blew up to such an extent that it became international news, you can even find a New York Times article on it. Hell, it became a talking point in Taiwanese elections and was so bad for China that it forced Chinese officials to step in and put a stop to it. This is an absolutely infamous moment in kpop history, and was likely very traumatic for a sixteen year old Tzuyu,.

-Rather than Twice, there was originally a group named "6Mix" that was meant to debut, but due to having members leave several times before debut they ended up doing SIXTEEN and creating Twice instead. The original 6Mix lineup included Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo. Sana also was added to the group as a replacement member before the whole thing got axed. An original 6Mix member, Minyoung, was on SIXTEEN but failed to make it into Twice.
-Other notable names on SIXTEEN include: Jeon Somi (IOI/Pre-debut ITZY/YG soloist), Park Jiwon (Fromis 9), Lee Chaeyeon (Iz*One), Lee Chaeryeong (ITZY).
-It's common to use trainees as extras in MVs. As such, you can find some Twice members pre-debut in a few of GOT7s videos. Going in the other direction, you can find Stray Kid's Bang Chan as a zombie in Twice's Like Ooh Ahh.
-Cheer Up was big enough that two different SK presidential candidates made their own versions of the song as part of their campaign promotional videos. And Sana's viral "Shy shy shy" from it was copied by even foreign actors and singers when they came by Korea.
