Excellent video. I think I learned more about truck control from this video than all the other backing videos combined. Taking my CDL test in Minnesota in a few weeks and very fortunate to find your channel. Thank you for not using the words ‘left’ or ‘right’.
Man those 4 levels, even the easiest one you started off with, no way I could do it. because I ALWAYS, and I say ALWAYS OVER or UNDER steer, I would probably complete maybe 2 or 3 turns max, and I'd be in the wall. Just watching that 4th level was even stressing me out lol Maybe some day I'll get better, but I don't think, with the time I have left in my work life, that I would be that good. I did try a serpentine course when I was training with a driver at a company I started with, but I didn't even get past the 2nd turn and I was soooooo wide.
I would love to buy your simulator, but I do not trust my ability to keep my computer secure enough to put my cc number into it. I'd have to be able to call or otherwise buy it. If you have already covered this, I apologize ahead for the mention. But many, many years ago, (I need analogy based memory phrases) I learned about alley entry and exit. I come up with "you can go from narrow to wide, but not from wide to narrow". Have you made mention of this sort of situation in your videos? Such as driving from a wide street into a narrow alley, or driving out of a narrow alley into a wider street. I feel one can use your backing skills lessons to decide how to approach this sort of conundrum.
I'm going to be honest the first 2 to 3 days... I struggled on your game... and I got frustrated... but yesterday I had a breakthrough moment ...where I figured out something... and now the backing maneuvers... are so much easier.. I think you remember me... I finally got the game to work but I cannot seem to find this particular level on my game
