- Gypsum plaster had been used for centuries in the construction space and is time tested process for plastering interior walls. Gypsum plaster provides excellent thermal and acoustic properties while providing superior rich and smooth finish.
Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of Calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4:2H20). It is widely used as a fertilized, in mould, in sculptures and as plaster material.

Not suitable for our tropical weather conditions. ഈർപ്പം അടുത്തുകൂടെ പോയാൽ പണി കിട്ടും. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെ കാലാവസ്ഥക്ക് സിമന്റ് പ്ലാസ്റ്ററിങ് തന്നെയാണ് ഉചിതം. പരസ്യം കണ്ട് എടുത്തുചാടരുത് ആരും.

@@decoartdesign - എന്നാലും കാര്യമില്ല ഇത് മോശം മെറ്റീരിയൽ ആണ് എന്ന് ഞാൻ പറയില്ല. പക്ഷെ കേരളത്തിലെ കാലാവസ്ഥക്ക് പറ്റില്ല. പിന്നെ Gyproc Elite സീരീസ് ഞാൻ ടെസ്റ്റിംഗിന് വേണ്ടി ചെറിയൊരു പോർഷൻ ചെയ്തുനോക്കി I am not satisfied and do not have confidence in it. പിന്നെ ഇത്രയും നല്ല ക്വാളിറ്റി Gypsum use ചൈയ്യുമ്പോൾ cost സിമെന്റ് പ്ലാസ്റ്ററിങ് ഇന്റെ അത്രയും തന്നെ വരും വലിയ വ്യത്യാസമൊന്നും ഇല്ല്യ അതുകൊണ്ടു റിസ്ക് എടുക്കേണ്ട എന്നേ ഞാൻ പറയു. അതിൽ കുറഞ്ഞ ക്വാളിറ്റി ഉള്ളത് വാങ്ങി അപ്ലൈ ചെയ്തു കോസ്റ്റ കുറച്ചു എന്ന് പറയുന്നതിൽ കാര്യമില്ല last ചൈയ്യില്ല. I work with a lot of engineers and majority are not recommending this considering our weather conditions.

@@NishadAbdulkhader - everybody knows who is blundering here. Just study about the number of people going for Gypsum plastering against cement plastering you will come to know. Gypsum as a material it’s good and it definitely suits some areas but definitely not suitable for our tropical weather conditions. Only gypsum contractors and companies are promoting the same and unfortunately there are very less takers…. Keep trying and good

@@Jakesile it’s quite natural in Kerala people will resist in the beginning and later run behind it . What happens to MSAND and PSAND . In the beginning everybody was against it and now all are behind it 🤣. You don’t know the basic properties of Gypsum I think . Gypsum is a low conductor of heat and modern gypsum with additives are far resistant to water than traditional sand cement . So why you are afraid ? What’s the scientific reason ?
