What a lovely plant selection 🥰 Grouping plants that like the same kind of (water) preferences is always worth researching and fun when trying to make them happy 🌿.
I am just starting to think about soil type and drainage! Probably I should have thought of this first. I was mostly thinking of what has grown in my garden and what should be able to grow in the light conditions. I was just having a little dig around out there and I am thinking the smaller stones might help with drainage 🤔. Thinking I might just dig in a lot of ericaceous compost. I see witch hazel and hydrangeas can do ok without fully ericaceous soil. So hoping they will do ok with some mixed in.
@@smiffsnorthfacinggarden re Hydrangeas - They definitely can 😊 - I have alkaline soil and the flowers remain either white or pink. In acid soil (or with ericaceous soil added) they take on the darker pink, blue and purple hues. Good luck and keep having fun 🥰💜🌿xx
