Would you say some detail has changed for Matlab 2018b? When I click the step button, it jumped out of the debugging mode. What's more, the base variable wasn't available within the function. I have to define V again in K command window.
As far as I know, nothing has changed in 2018b. I'm currently running 2022b, and everything still works the same, though with a slightly different layout. As far as the base variable, can you please elaborate on what you mean?
