    Another great lesson Howard I have been playing this song incorrectly for some time but now that you have explained the movement of the chords it all makes sense now. This song is yet another of my favourite Zeppelin tunes and there is a lot of them. More to come I hope. Thanks for the lesson.

    Thanks so much for these lessons. I played a little back in high school and college, then life got in the way and I stopped playing for close to 40 years. You make it so much fun to be playing again. THANK YOU!

    I loved this lesson. Thank you so much Mr. Hart. You are such a great teacher, i have a 12 string guitar and made a search for 12 string tutorials, found up one, in wish the guy plays very cool, but explains different things (easier) so doesn't sounds well. I had never listened "Tangerine" before. So i found your tutorial and GOD how good it is, how complete and well explained. In the 12 string guitar sounds awesome, altough i'm struggling with a lot of issues: To put the chord correctly so it sounds good, the rhytm, the little changes and embellishments. but it is so well explained that i can go on my own and practice to hand it down. Besides it sounds beautiful, the ending of the song is a masterpiece, i would say it sounds better with out the voice jajaja. Thank you again.

    Brother Brother Brother, thank you so much for a wonderful detailed version of one of my all time favorite Zeppelin songs. 🎸
    I learned so much from this lesson. I would like to ask though if you could play all the acoustic parts slowly so we can all practice and follow along? Mucho Gracias 🙏 🎸🙏

    I just learned this song but it sounded incredibly out of tune when i wanted to play along to the recording on Spotify. It sounds wonderful when i play along to your video though....
    Do you happen to know the reason for this occurrence? My guitar is in tune by the way

    • @247GuitarwithHowardHart
      @247GuitarwithHowardHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - The original recording is pitched down a bit... If I remember right, it's close to a 1/2 step, but not perfect. I don't know if Jimmy tuned down or slowed the tape down a bit (something he definitely did on other songs) - Howard

    • @Julessteenbergen
      @Julessteenbergen ปีที่แล้ว

      @@247GuitarwithHowardHart that makes a lot of sense! I think they did the same thing with hey hey what can i do since it doesn't quite sound right when i play along to it either. I sincerely appreciate your response!

    After subscribing I’ve noticed your channel does not show up on my list of subscriptions. Three different devises. Know any possible reason that’s the case? Never happened until now.

    Is the opening really all down strokes? It doesn't feel particularly comfortable or natural. I find it very odd someone would choose that that over a regular down up stroke pattern.

    • @247GuitarwithHowardHart
      @247GuitarwithHowardHart  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just a matter of choice... either/or is fine. Jimmy actually used a combination. Having said that: Overall he does employ a lot of down strokes thru out the song.

    • @scottkeeter1880
      @scottkeeter1880 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man thanks for replying. I guess it's not a wah wah. It is that beautiful slide dobro sounding lead. I cant seem to get any where close on my regular acoustic Yamaha. And thanks for both videos on this classic.
