I feel you for this game. I just played a progressive caps game where I card blocked a GM for a few turns twice and both times the third played rammed me. Then it was just stalemating. I had to pick my kids up from school so I ran my troops into the guy who kept letting the GM out of the cars block.
Also made me wonder how easy it must be to become GM when an intermediate can card block you twice in one game.
I was screaming in my head that entire turn that white was off the center cap and you finally looked and saw it when it was too late to take it...
White slamming you in Rabat seems like potential teaming. Maybe it was just players doing unexpected things.
I let someone take the win today because he went alll out on the snowballer while everyone just attacked me he was also very smart in understanding in what I wanted like opening my cap card blocking others with me so much so that I gave him the win ❤

Good game. I had the same type of ending the other day. Chance at a win but tried too much getting to the 1v1 and missed the fortify.

It all went downhill when he took two caps without destroying orange's bonues. It was very risky since Kylted took the center position with orange and white already cool with each other way before Kylted and white were and it was only a matter of time before red and orange will be too, given that purple overtook Orange in taking over the majority of the board after killing green. Giving that cap to red would've been a better play since the Dinaric Alps cap was the best.
It was still less than 10 turns into the progressive cap game so protecting those bonuses should've been more vital than protecting three caps at once.
Went downhill when he didn't take the chance rolling whites cap that he was always going to be vulnerable to imo

Killing green was the overstep. He gave you a free cap. You take the cap and fortify your already dominate position and dont ever take a 3rd cap in a 4 player game when the other 3 players have not been in a war with each other.

White and Orange 2v1 here makes perfect sense. White was pissed at kylted ever since he refused to card trade in Italy and forced white to make enemies, so when Orange who had always been a good neighbor to him got in a war, he knew which side he was joining.
