I love the mood of this game so much. Very clever making the UV's move instead of the actual walls. Was not expecting the flying demon, very nice 👌 Keep up the great work!
I was just thinking that adding some variation to the tunnel walls would push it to the next level and then you went and added the lights! It looks awesome, the game has come a long way and the atmosphere is stellar
Hey thanks! :) I was going to go overboard with variation but I found just those little lights sufficed... who'd a thought right ? :) thanks for watching btw
Awesome video! Really am liking the progress of your game. The train model is spot on and looks super awesome. Really like the idea of giving movement feel of the train by moving the texture. That is a clever idea. Also really like the atmosphere of your game inside the train. The cutscenes looks super kool. Looking forward to your next devlog. Keep it up! :)
Duuude! To say I am excited to see this develop and eventually play it is an understatement. This looks absolutely amazing. The fact that TH-cam thinks the footage is from Silent Hill 2 is a great compliment! haha
I am a sound designer and I just wanted to give you a tip, it might just be youtube idk. Your audio, doesnt sound bad, just sounds implemented incorrectly. For sounds that you want coming from a specific location use mono, for sounds all around you, like ambience you would want to use stereo. Just a tip,
I know the audio sound's a little more distorted when I record for some reason however I will double check to make sure it's all good, thanks for the tip :)
Fighting force was one of my ps1 favs, great fun in 2 player. And damn, talk about an 180° turn. I wqs expecting to be fighting thugs in a train like FF but youve added a supernatural crying demon chick. Sheesh, cool.
Really cool work bud! If you need a 3rd man for the job I'm all yours.I have a pretty rich game development background (more exactly 7 years). If you are intersted I'm glad to show you my portofolio one day!Peace and, again, nice work to both of you!
Your game and generally your style is very inspiring. I was doing some Unity in University for quiet a time now and wantet to change to Unreal Engine now. I was wondering do you only used blueprints so far or do you also hard coded in C++ ? Cause i was really wondering if things like you did until now are all realizable with blueprints only (also cause of the performance of the VM)
Hey thank you! that's kind of you to say. Everything is codded using blueprints and works very well with how I learn, I'm not the smartest guy :'D but everything seems to be running fine :)
Hello, I'm a new subscriber and I like your content and I would like to ask you why you don't offer tutorials on how to create characters and everything on Blender. You are a professional designer and I promise you that if you continue like this you will become famous one day
Hey thanks for the sub and thank's for watching :) I will like to eventually create more tutorials just trying to find the time and confidence to make something good. I don't think I will ever be famous but that's nice of you to say :)

Okay was curious what Lixian had to say about it and you spoiled me Flying demon :D God damn it :D
Hey thanks Lixian :) Ah don't worry about her, she's just having a bad day is all :D
Thanks for stopping by :)
Seeing the train fake moving is so awesome. Its totally convincing!
Thank you :)
I was not expecting the UV illusion to look so convincing, great work!
Thanks! :) I was surprised when i first tested it out, cheers for watching
Nice to see more frequent devlogs! Fighting Force is a great game to take inspiration from!
Thanks mate! I played through the whole game with a friend we couldn't just stop after getting the footage it's too fun :'D

Much love homie
Your videos have given me inspiration to make my own ps1 style horror game! I love these videos! Your game looks absolutely fabulous!
Thank you :) I hope you continue to pursue to make your own game!
TH-cam Gaming acknowledged this as Silent Hill 2, definitely doing something right.
It's weird how to does that :'D
this looks so slick!!! love the way the train breaks in half!
that part was really fun to make too :) thanks for watching :)
Dude I am so excited to see more of your game! It is looking brilliant!

@@AaronMYoung I think the audio sounds good and fits the esthetic
"improved the atmosphere and vibe" cuts to an even darker scene and somebody crying lmao

Hello once again! :D Fighting force is classic! Oh yeah this games enemies are going to be varied!
yooo that's cool
Hey thank you! :)

It turns out a very high quality project. Please tell me, did you learn to program somewhere and create 3D models or are you self-taught?
Thank you, I learned from youtube and forums, so I'm self-taught :)
@@AaronMYoung, You are doing well!
hay, do you consider real world measorment or do you use stripdown retio. like 4km/4000m of real world as 400m in game .
Hey, when modeling I use my player character for reference of scale and just estimate it :D I rarely model to exact scale.
@@AaronMYoung thank you.
Man this is great, what tool do you use to do the level design modeling?
Hey thanks! I use blender and sketchup :)
Wow, did you also model the character yourself??
Yup I did :)
How u think: how percentage of the work have u done?
It's hard to put a percentage but I'm not very far into development, but I am making more progress more quickly now :)

Your PS1 starter pack links seems to be broken. Can you fix them? They seem to end at...
Thank you for pointing this out, I have now fixed the links :)
Remove the center poles on the train plz
Yay they were removed
Man, people who obsess about making ps1 looking games are sooooo lame.
We need serious help 0_0
It looks insane man! I love the mood that you're going for! Why is Arthur crying does he have train phobia 🫢?
Hey thank's I appreciate that :), Oh, he sat on gum and it ruined his work shorts :D
