I don't cheer or have a long history in dance. However I think that would help them/cheerleaders/dancers etc.is learning how to keep a steady pulse/time. I have done band for 4 years.I have a good history making it into honor bands. I watched a lot of the girls they did fine without the music,but when it started they lost count.I truly think if they learned how to keep a steady tempo it would help. They did really good though.
