From what I gathered through Jaxon Galoxy (cat behaviorist), the developers of this game spent hours and hours in the office with the cats this game was based off of. They'd study the movements of the cats and everything to make sure that they had the correct data for the game, which is pretty incredible. The amount of dedication that was put into this game shows with the graphic details and the body language of the cat itself. Looking forward to seeing more!
Please Please make this a series! I absolutely love this game, and you playing it makes it a whole new experience because you get so immersed.

The other 3 cats were Fisk, Taco and Olaf. You were totally set up for the fall.
This is a long game and sad at times. But so worth it. There are some wonky things, but they are quickly forgiven for the cute factor, and world build. And the attention to animations. So satisfying knocking things to the ground. It's the "Cat" thing to do.

The city graphics in this game is amazing. It would make a great fallout or dayz style game with humans surviving in the future apocalypse.
This was such a great game from beginning to end, I played it the whole way thru the second I got it
If you raised a cat yourself, and give it love, he will be your best buddy. Don’t give up on cats. I didn’t like cats til my wife made me get one and now he’s my best friend. ❤❤❤ give it a try. Raise it from a kitten.
when i first saw stray i thought it was going to be another one of those gimmicky games like Goat Simulator, but after watching you play this it felt like a chilled, and genius culmination of exploration and relaxed puzzle based adventures... to which i am now considering actually getting the game and giving it a shot...
especially since i have a fresh perspective on the game now... so I would definitely like to see more videos of Stray please Fooster...

due to the chilled nature and easy to get on with story that say's far more than it ever actually does.... the pacing of the game is very steady and time seems to pass comfortably, never once felt like it was too long or too short tbh

Try putting strips of double sided tape as a deterrent, cats are pretty easy to keep off of or away from things if you know how.

Aww, as a cat owner (and someone who's played Stray), it warms my heart to watch you play this. I think there are things we take for granted having cats, so seeing someone who isn't as familiar be just as charmed and invested in the cat's story is really precious. Have fun playing the game!

@Fooster - If you ever going to adopt a cat. Get one from a shelter and if possible - don't choose the cat, let the cats choose you. I once adopted one and the one we choose wasn't our first pick - but it was the one that was most persistent being around us and showed most interest. The right chemistry from the get go.
Honestly, Fooster, you make games like this one a ton of fun to watch. Games like this, AKA walking simulators, are usually really good. And your voiceovers make it better. If you like a game like this, and are willing to continue to step further away from the survival genre, then I'd recommend "What Remains of Edith Finch." If not a VOD, then at least for your own personal enjoyment!

Stray is one of the best games ever made. Its only like 5-hours long, you have got to play the rest of it. You have to solve the hidden mystery, you have to make it to the outside, it is your destiny Fooster.

This game is so true to form where cats are concerned. They studied cats in order to make this relatively "realistic" where the movements were concerned. I love love love this game. There are not enough cat games.
Also, Fooster - I met a little Frenchie puppy yesterday! A little brindle ball of squish and kisses. His name was Bruce and he was beauuuuutiful! Positively fell in love with him!

When I played Stray I was super impressed with how well they managed to translate all the mocaps they got from different cats into an animation and how real it looks!
BTW the scratching is not only for sharpening claws but also for leaving scent and, simply, stretch :)

I like watching it enough that I'm bout to search for other gameplay videos of it. Even though I will likely be disappointed with how other creators present it. But I want to see more and can't play it myself. No computer and no internet to download the updates most PS games nowadays force you to download after buying the discs. It was an amazing game.... a little infuriating in some parts... but one of the few games I actually sat and finished.

Btw: cctv cameras are always in couple and turning one towards the other. This way, each camera is always in the field of view of at least one other. So, if somebody tries to tamper a camera, s/he will be recorded on tape.

I'll be honest, I have never heard or seen this game. But something about it was oddly satisfying. Had to laugh when you got your head stuck in a paper bag. Happy to continue watching if you want to pump out another episode or so. I'm curious to know how the story will continue. 😊😊😊

I hope you continue this game through to the end. I've been watching others (Skizzleman, PearlescentMoon, H2Odelirious and Jacksepticeye to name a few) and I love watching new people play it. Seeing their reactions to it is really something. I bought the game but it turned out my laptop is too old to play it. So I am currently saving up and am close to being able to buy a new laptop with better graphics.
I had this game wishlisted MONTHS in advance of release... picked it up on release day, and played through in two 5 hour sittings. I have no regrets. This is one of my all-time favorite games. Genuinely one of the best things i've played in the last few years.
I think about this game often. It was so simple and beautiful and told a really cool story. I don’t LOVE cats but this little guy was adorable. I hope they come out with another one.
