    Including the tutorials from Presonus yours are the most simplistic. Great info and hands on approach. Loved it!

    Very Novice and needing to get educated on a new Presonus board we just ordered and can't say how helpful your videos have been.

    You should do an advanced tutorial on the FAT Channel, how to eq and use compressors etc.

    Awesome video!!! Very informative. And I'm so glad that you agree and explained how important active mixing is! I can't tell you how many times I've been to performances where the sound engineer is half asleep or not even there after an initial sound check smh. Keep it up!

    Watching others mix is a good way to learn, No one ever learns alone and without mistakes you wont learn.

    Hi Guys we have a Presonas 24.4.2 at church and we have had some issues with it recently, and seemed to have lost all the channel presets and the effects from the system!
    Do you know the best was of trying to retrieve the presets and effects!
    Thanks for all your help!
    Thanks Andy F

    How did you send that song through in all the different channels necessary

    • @RobHamptonMedia
      @RobHamptonMedia  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jason stuen There's a "firewire" button at the top of the board (glows yellow) and that allows signal to send from a computer rather than from the stage. You have to have this off to have an actual live band though.

    I have an AUX1 for monitoring with several channels, how do send effect to AUX1?

      +Quang Phan Press select on Aux1, than mix 2 times. Use the knobs below fx A or fx B in the fat section to send how much fx you want to aux 1.

    Why is the phantom power on in all the channels?

    • @TheProphetsWhisper
      @TheProphetsWhisper 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      because phantom power isn't going to affect a microphone that doesn't need it. i'm assuming most projects studios don't give a flying fuck how much power this may or may not eat up

      That will fry most ribbon mics or the output section of a keyboard if it’s connected to the xlr’s directly, I.e. without a DI box to protect it. Might be a better habit to just turn phantom power on where necessary.

    this would be really good if you could actually hear it. any chance of actually outputting the audio into the video? the room sound doesn't really add anything to this video

      Matt Randall Sorry Matt, this is a recording I made years ago for my old church, I don't have the audio files anymore.

    What the heck is presonus thinking boosting eq in vocals? Whack.
