Yea, I thought so, what always stuck out to me the most about all of it was this: Nico has lost EVERYONE basically, the only people who he thinks love him are up in the Argo 2, debating weather they should leave him there in a jar to die or not. Like, that is just so depressing to read. He is slowly dying, wondering if anyone will come to save him, knowing that is the only way he would come out of this alive.
the unfortunate thing about piper being canonically a lesbian is that people will always doubt it because she dated a man. you can be a lesbian, date a man, and have feelings for them. you can be a lesbian, and confuse platonic love for a man for romantic love. piper and jasons relationship was forged and forced to be a thing. she had to take the time to separate the fake memories that were put there by hera, and her actual, real feelings about jason. it makes sense canonically that she is a lesbian, her relationship with jason was just a very complicated one.
