2:52, my mom's father (my grandfather) looked exactly like Donitz. That's how I will always remember him! because he passed away in 1964 when I was 4 years old.

If Hitler had listened to Doenitz before the war, it could have turned out much different

There was a Doenitz who owned the paramount hotel in times square, I worked there at the front desk. He was a clone for the admiral , and was well respected. I was German and was fascinated, my father was in the German navy , thought I was nuts. This was the hotel in the godfather where Lou Cabaraze is killed in the bar. That was in the paramount lounge.

I hate National Socialism. That being said, Donitz was generally a very capable commander and later an outstanding admiral. He should have ordered radio silence of U-boats in most circumstances for avoiding detection and locating by Allied hunters. He suspected that Enigma had been deciphered, but fell short of insisting on further changes and other alternatives. Despite these, he led the U-boat force better than most admirals would have

Firstly ,nothing wrong with the German accent my good man , i still never understood why he stood trial for war crimes ?? he was just a Admiral doing his job ,no death camp involvement etc' a true leader .

Little is said about Vanille und Schokolade Dönitz. You can always find them at Dunkin' Dönitz.

Lost 2 sons in the War that’s got to warp your mind ! All of these people were surrounded by death ! The constant bombing must have had a terrible effect on the psychopathology of the survivors !

How can you say that? You seem to be almost worshiping a monster who committed his own sons to a certain death along with countless others. He was psychotic megalomaniac who shared in Hitlers collective madness. No good could have come from the Nazis winning WWII. The misery they would have inflicted on Europe and the Western democracies would set back history by a thousand years into another Dark Age.

That’s how war business is done . You send your son’s we follow. Not we send yours and I keep my home.

There is a vid of the 'New Fuhrer' with his
hands up in a row. Mighty 'impressive'.

The name Constantinople was mentioned in the report. There is no city called Constantinople. Its official, legal and real name is Istanbul. Why don’t you try to accept this fact? Why do historians not respect the will, language and culture of eighty million Turkish people? Some will say, what is the difference? Look for the bad intentions and mentality of the colonial Western countries behind this to find out the reason.
    my regards
