Kids are spoilt now having everything on the network - every birthday as a kid I would get a wrestling video as a present and would stand for hours and hours in Virgin Megastores weeks in advance of my birthday reading all the back of the videos and deciding which one to pick.

My cousins and I spent hours jumping around in our PJs recreating all these moves. Until one of us inevitably smacked their head on a coffee table or door knob and get yelled at. Good times!

I just remembered, just now - Royal Rumble 1991 (like I said, which the old 90s UK VHS release would definitely have had this promo) featured Dustin Rhodes - the son of the late Dusty Rhodes, who would later become Goldust 4 years later.
Quality!! There was another version after this from videos in the early 90s, when the music stops on the middle it used to show ric flair walking to the ring at the 92 royal rumble. I don't know why I remember that but I do!

I'm aware, when they had this promo, only *4* of the events - Royal Rumble (January), WrestleMania (March or April), SummerSlam (August) and Survivor Series (November) - were PPVs (hence there's no mention of King of the Ring, which didn't become a PPV until 1993, where it was held in June, after WrestleMania, and before SummerSlam). IMO, as I posted on a video, the PPVs became better when there were now *5* of them, and were renamed 'the classic five', when they included King of the Ring. It was a much better event than UK Rampage, which was never even a PPV.
@GamingPalooza Pretty much - the difference being they still distribute over here. Their tagged classics range are exempt from the blurring of the attitude logo too, as they're a third party licencee, unlike wwe home video.

yes I believe the shot of jake with snake is a post survivor series 88' moment after which Andre had choked him out for curt "Mr Perfect" hennig to pin him after Andre was disqualified thus causing jake to retaliate by bringing out damien and freaking Andre out the ring

I'm aware this promo was on the old 90s UK VHS releases of Survivor Series 1990, Royal Rumble 1991 and WrestleMania VII - featuring Sergeant Slaughter and General Adnan, but I don't know if it was any of the 1991-92 VHS releases featuring Colonel Mustafa (I don't think it was on the old 90s UK VHS release of SummerSlam 1991, nor do I know if it was on the old 90s UK VHS releases of Survivor Series 1991 or Royal Rumble 1992) [although he does appear in the promo as his original persona - the Iron Sheik - from WrestleMania III]. This promo was definitely on the old 90s UK VHS release of WrestleMania VI - featuring Bad News Brown and Miss Elizabeth (the former's final appearance at WrestleMania) [the latter did appear in WrestleMania VII, her penultimate appearance at WrestleMania]. I'd imagine it would have appeared on the old 90s UK VHS release of SummerSlam 1990 - Bad News Brown's final match (where he was even said to have those sewer rats, even though we never actually *saw* them). Although the WWF (as it was still called at the time) had *well* gotten rid of this promo by the time Goldust and Kane were introduced, it still appeared on the old 90s UK VHS releases of WrestleMania VI, Survivor Series 1990 and Royal Rumble 1991 (featuring the former's late dad - Dusty Rhodes) and on the old 90s UK VHS releases of Survivor Series 1990, Royal Rumble 1991 and WrestleMania VII (featuring the latter's kayfabe brother - the Undertaker). All these wrestlers (and that beautiful manager) are *much better* names of the WWF who are my favourites, than Hulk Hogan (even Bad News Brown's better than Hulk Hogan, especially as LOL! *he* doesn't like racists, as implied by that match at WrestleMania VI, against Rowdy Roddy Piper). I mean - all these people, basically, are much better than Hulk Hogan. I want more association with *them*, than the man who said the n word.
there was a great intro on Silver Vision's "Wrestlemania 2" video I bought years ago.....it started off with a coliseum and Grecko Roman figures then proceeded into footage from various wrestling of I assume earlier WWF programmes.
