I’m known as a go live Granny because I used to do lots of live streaming myself but it’s so lovely now for someone else to stream and for me to watch. You did a brilliant job. It's very nice with this 'Island Coaster' trip, as it follows the direction of some of the older Southern Vectis bus routes which you can't normally do anymore, such as the way this bus leaves Ventnor towards St. Lawrence, before then heading up the hill. Equally, the stretch upon leaving Niton, going towards Blackgang, and then travelling the full length of the old Militry Road. Wonderful.

For first 8 years of my life I and brothers and our parents lived on Newport rd, half kilometres from the castle.watching these videos I want to visit the place. See how go once I settle in my new home.
Yes. The route was once part of the 7/7A circular service which ran roughly hourly around the whole island, taking over 4 HOURS. It was split up shortly after the takeover of Southern Vectis by the Go-Ahead Group (timekeeping was virtually impossible on a route with narrow roads and holiday traffic).
Looking at this video. Which by the way is brilliant. I didn’t see an ounce of litter anywhere on pavement or road. Absolutely marvellous.

I'm an American. I gre up traveling to the IOW most summers to see my grandparents in Ventnor. I miss my aunt in Shanklin and the Island dearly.
I was born in UK married an American now in US but moving back home soon. Seeing this video made me cry.
