I have a small question. I've watched the video and looked through the comments but I cannot figure out how to remove the small board in the lower corner. In fact, I'm not even sure what the board does. Can you offer any guidance?

the top screw on the camera is bigger then the rest btw :)

I have a few question regarding the the screen and frame replacement?
1. Is it required to use an adhesive to replace the the rear cameras,Earpiece Speaker, Vibrator (basically any component taken directly from the housing)?
2. There is a small circuit board that is at the base of the G3 to the left of the headphone jack how would u suggest removing it?

***** there wasn't any inconvenience. I just waned to point it out for others. I would also recommend paying close attention to aligning the adhesive properly. I may have cut a piece incorrectly or something because my screen just barely bumps out about a millimeter in one of the corners. Otherwise, thank you for the product and the video. You're awesome.

Good video, totally helped me. Though after it was all assembled did I see that the metal screen protecting the ear speaker at the top of the LCD did not get moved from the old to the new - and it wasn't noted to do so in the video. Since it took me 2 hours to do the replacement (my first and I was a bit scared), I"m going to live dangerously and go without. But I recommend you note that in an updated video ... or somehow else.
Dealing with the adhesive strips is a hassle, especially the skinny sides. But I'm able to remove extra after complete install. I'm glad I ordered the adhesive strips because they were advertised as 'extra' but in fact the replacement comes with none.
But yes - good video otherwise.
So by watching this video and doing some research, I used leftover thermal compound from my computer to put on my lg's cpu due to overheating and it worked!

Can the screws fit in any hole that you place them into, or do they need to go back exactly where they came from, I know from the iPhone you have screws that are bigger and smaller, so you have to place them exactly where they came from.

What kind of adhesive do you use for this repair? I have 3M double sided black tape. Would this do?

Can i use a d850, d851, d855...etc screen,digitizer assemby+ frame for a fast fix with no problems?
Or would it have to be a complete d852 repair?
Can these steps be followed for the LG G4 as well? My screen is fine, i just want to replace the bezel, because it is dented.
I dropped my g3 today and the LCD screen is entirely cracked. It does not respond to my touch at all. So I am going to try to fix this by myself. Hopefully this video could help me up...
when looking at screens from other sites, i can see that there are different screens available for verizon, T-mobile and AT&T devices. Since i'm in europe i have a device that isn't connected to one of these brands. Will the screens you supply fit for my G3? Or aren't there any differences between these screens? Thanks in advance.
My screen is cracked from the inside and half of my screen is black with vertical lines would I have to get a new phone? Or would replacing the lcd help?

You can do your best to salvage the LCD and Touch screen but it may get damaged in the removal process. Use your heat gun and work around the unit slowly.
Is it possible to take the screen off without a heat gun?

Uh also another question, what you think that create these lines? Cause i see them the most on in black images
puzzerella ive been having the exact same problem. Im pretty sure youve damged the lcd (the thing directly behind the glass) which sucks because im under the impression that that part is one of the most expensive parts. If you find an easy fix, let me know.

In my situation it wont. Ive ordered a new lcd+screen and I'll let you know how that works out. BTW, I have T Mobile and JUMP insurance, but they're still being dicks because I caused the damage.

What is the small circuit board located at the base of the frame, to the left of the phone jack? and how does one remove that? I ordered a frame assy w/ the LCD already attached, and it did not come with that circuit board.
Any information would be appreciated.

I actually didn't know what it was, but the small little board had adhesive on the backside. I just carefully pulled it off, and placed it into the new frame.
I've replaced screens before and it was no easy task--- However this was insanely easy replacing my cracked screen. I will refer anyone who needs it to you guys!
if i remove a lcd from a working phone ls990, would i have any difficulties removing it without damaging and installing it on my d851 ?
Hi there. I'm a bit confused on what exactly I'm supposed to be buying for my lg g3. I dropped it the other day and it ended up getting a deep cracked spot right on top of where it shows the time(the time while on lock screen) The cracks are spread out around the crack/hole thing like a spider web and there's also cracks that seem to be under the glass that go all the way down almost to the bottom of the screen and they go all the way to the top as well. The whole top of the screen doesn't work and the only numbers that it will let me press on the lock screen are 2,7,9,0 and 5. It can't be unlocked at all. What exactly should I be buying to fix this problem? Thank you!
there is a gold strip at the bottom of the frame, do you know what that is for? I purchased a screen and frame set but the frame does not have that strip. Idk how this will effect the phone.

hi! What if there is no obvious physical damage to the screen following a drop .. however the touchscreen is not in working order?
+shapi27 Your digitizer is most likely compromised/damaged. At times this can happen without no visible damages. You would want an LCD and Touch screen assembly.

Help. Installed everything the way it should just that can't get it to power on. Will detect the charger tho and displays it when off. But can't get it on did a soft reset and nothing any ideas??

i send my phone to a lab to replace the screen and i think they used glue somehow.. is ?that ok? or may it cause problems in my phone in the future?

What if I put the tape on straight on the back will it still work?
+cain benzing It isn't really advised. It's possible the adhesive could affect the backlight and be visible in the display.

+cam lee The adhesive should not have presented any issues for you. Try resetting the device to see if this helps. You can also double check your flex cables to ensure they are seated properly.

Can you help me? I have an LG G3 and I removed about 6 screws from the back with a ph #00 screwdriver but the rest won't budge.
+Daniel Carroll They would all use the same phillips head screws but it's possible they may be stripped. You may need to apply some pressure and turn slowly to try and remove them slowly.

My Lg G 3´s screen fades/flickers away then after a few min. it comes back to life, but only for a short while...And it heats up quickly as well..What´s your opinion on this issue?
It sounds like there could be a short. Has the phone been previously repaired? Has it been wet?
Marino de Oliveira that's a fade screen. I've fixed my uncle's G3 by putting 1 mini sim that cutted to the same size as the CPU and put thermal paste in it. then i put a mini simcard on the metal thing under the camera. and last, i've putted a thick paper on the camera connector. then, force close the back of the G3 and force screwing it. Then, you're done.

@Fixez.com Hi, my new screen doesn't stick very well to the main frame.. lightbleed occurs between the main frame and screen.. Is it because I dont put enough sticker between them?

Yes, the most common issue is the adhesive used. Weather to little or the adhesive was not good quality. Use a heat source and hold the location where you see the most light bleed down and see if this helps. Otherwise you will need additional adhesive.

It can occur but we do our best to avoid this issue when repairing the device.

I replaced my G3 screen and LCD. When I tested it before putting my bottom back plate on, it worked fine. But after I put the bottom back plate it quit responding to my touch. What is wrong?
+Thomas Ballard It's possible that if the tape over the LCD ribbon wasn't replaced or if it was misaligned, that the LCD ribbon is being shorted.

No mate look it up logic boards are found in all microcomputers such as phones

you forgot to to take off the speaker cover from the broken screen and put it on the new screen...
i got the screen, looked a little sketchy but it worked. i fixed it and it worked beautifully. today i put it innocently on my clarinet case and the screen cracks moments later. the touch works its just now i have a crap ton of lines on the right side of my screen and cant see anything but ROYGBV and black lines on that side . 80 dollars wasted tbh. the shipping went to unecessary areas when i tracked the package. this was a waste of time it feels like. idk this may just be anger but im just a wee bit irritated.

Kim Chance This is a Scam night rider company. Use inferior materials and technique. Being a tecnician myself I also notice the very important details of install are missing as are the answers to the patrons questions. Baaadddd company. Stay away. There are much better ones out there. Notice they do massive advertising. Thats because they have no repeat customers.

Lg g3 is worst phone iv ever owned. Broke 2 screens in 2 weeks just from being in pocket . Very breakable screen with 0 flex
Not true, IMO. I had it for 3 years with no issues, dropped it several times and it was perfectly fine (no protection whatsoever, btw). It cracked when i leaned on my car's door, with all my weight, trying to get something from the passenger seat (the phone was on my front pocket, so i literally used it as a fulcrum point). I thik any phone would have cracked in that situation.
