Can we make the old New Holland Hay rake work again?

After many years in retirement we pull the old New Holland out of the weeds and put it back in action. We fix a few problems put it behind the LS tractor and it lives again!

That’s awesome, I’ve really been wanting to do my own haying but equipment cost a lot and i only have 45 hp LS tractor. Hopefully this year I get me a small Baler try and get one piece at a time

That’s how you do it. A little bit at a time. Pick up pennies and save them all 45 hp tractor can get a lot of work done. Older haybine cutter, rake and maybe a small round or even a square baler behind your LS. Hope you can find some good equipment.
