    Great honest review. Currently running a MT342 w cab & it’s been great, but I may step up in future. If you are close to a good machine shop, get them to possibly extend your bucket around edges. We used to do that to our skid steers blending fertilizer. 6-8” on sides/top.

    This was a great comparison between the two. I bought an MT7101 this summer with the partial power shift transmission. I’m glad to see the differences especially in size between the two. Around my property a smaller tractor would be nice but I needed the HP for pulling a large arena groomer for horse events so I went with the MT 7101. The partial power shift was a must for me running the groomer too as you can change gears without clutching. It doesn’t look like the MT5 is much smaller than the MT7. I’ve been very happy with my MT7 so far. I can say the loader is very stout and effortlessly moves 1600 pound round bales and anything else I’ve picked up with it but the tractor is still very nimble and easy to maneuver in tight areas.

    Thanks for the great comparison. I’ve commented here before…I’ve got the MT573. So far, I’m happy with my purchase. I think the LS is a great value compared to the competition. Just a few comments, strictly my opinions, fwiw: The MT573 is a big tractor. For what I do (property maintenance, woods work, food plots, brush hogging, etc.) the MT573 is as big and as heavy as I want. I’ve got the R14’s, loaded. I like the way they sit. The traction has given me everything i need. Not happy with the ride (at higher speeds). Lots of bounce. Not sure if that’s the tire or the loading, but not nearly as good a ride as my JD4066R with loaded R4’s. The three standard rear remotes was a big deal for me. One of the deciding factors over the Kioti. The transmission on the MT573 does not leave me wanting anything more. For what I do, I’ve yet to use the creeper. Engine power has been everything I need and more. I agree the loader on the MT573 seems a little light. I had some trouble with mine (thought I had bent it). Actually turned out to be loose mounting bolts. I like the lift capacity that it gives me. I’ve got a CTL and a mini-x, so i’ll never do any digging type work with mine…I’ve got better options. The LED lights would be nice for the cool factor, but in reality I don’t do any night work, so for what little I drive mine at the stock lights have been fine. Maybe just me, but I prefer the white wheels to the gray.

    I looked hard at the Kioti RX7320 before buying my MT573. It is a great tractor, no doubt but the LS just seemed to have more value for the $$$. I’ve been happy with mine so far. So far, only some loose loader mount bolts.

  • @cheefpilot
    @cheefpilot 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

    If you had to decide between this or the MT573, which one would you get? I’m looking at both right now and trying to decide which one I want. The Kioti is $2500 more once I add the 2 extra remotes.

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well this is a very hard question to answer. I think both are very good tractors. I like my LS and I do not regret the purchase. I looked at the RX 7320 before I bought my LS. As I was trying to decide between the two, I started listing the things I wanted and the pros and cons between both. I did this with all of the tractors I looked at. I also considered the dealerships and support. In my case both were good. The RX 7340 was not out at the time and it may have made my decision even harder. In the end I finally chose the LS. I think in the end it will come down to what your needs and expectations are. Sit in them and use every knob, button, and Lever as if you are going to be in it for 8+ hours. Drive them both on the same day. Go back and forth between the dealers if you have to. Talk to everyone. I know this is not the answer of buy this one over that other, but when you are putting the money down and signing the paperwork the only thing that will matter is that you are happy with your purchase. Thanks, I am not sure if I was any help here. The decision is a difficult one. Lots of money.

      I bought the Kioti. Mostly because the LS dealers in my area had sleazy salesmen selling them out of a mower shop. I could tell that I wasn't gonna have any dealer support if I have problems. Kioti dealer was way easier to work with and had a proper repair shop, also actually ended up being cheaper in the end to go with the RX.

Hope you have many good years of service with your tractor I Still love my LS and thankful we have a good dealer. Thanks again

    I just hit 400 hours on my MT357HC using it for my sawmill operation, logging, etc. It's been a fantastic machine so far! When I first got it, you probably don't remember but I commented on one of your first videos, because I felt like the loader was flexing quite a bit compared to my previous tractor. Now that I have used and abused the loader, I found that the loader is PLENTY strong. I have had a couple small mishaps with logs that really put some torque on it, and no problems at all, it has stayed straight and true. Love this tractor!

    I think I would go with the LS mt774 over this duetz for a number of reasons. I will say this is a pretty nice tractor in a more reasonable price range like the LS I have the mt573 with 2000 hours on it. Planning to pick up the mt774 in a couple of months. The nice thing about having two similar tractors that shift and operate the same is muscle memory. Jump from one to the next and nothing much changes in feel.

    The local tractor dealer here is a John Deere, the only problem is they have a 3.8 star rating and people are complaining the no matter how small the repair, everything is 8 weeks out and poor attitudes form the service department! Looks like I will have to go another 30 miles out to find a decent dealer for a color other than green. Love your video and points about your LS tractor and down falls of the Deere. It almost seems that J Deere is giving up on the smaller tractors and just decided to 'farm' it out to India.

  • @franksfamily
    @franksfamily หลายเดือนก่อน

    Everyone like to justify their purchase decisions. All good. The cost difference between the two with a cab and loader is about 20%. You pay 20% more for a John Deere. But keep in mind, you pay interest on LS tractors in most dealers at 5% year. So its all the same. Yes, they are made in India and assembled in America. But that doesn't mean quality takes a hit. If India builds the parts according to JD specs, no problem. Why pay someone in America $60/hr to build parts when you can pay them $20/hr in India? Also, LS is made in China, Brazil, etc. So its all the same. They are both fine tractors. You can't go wrong either way.

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife หลายเดือนก่อน

      I appreciate your comment. Not sure about the 5% per year you are referring to. I have not paid anything. If you are referring to financing. I paid cash one time and have not paid any interest. Also ALL financing on ALL brands of tractors is a Scam. So I am not sure of this part of your comment. I never said anything negative about the tractors being made in another country just clarifying that they are NOT 100% made in the USA. Most if not all tractors are now built in other countries and most of the time to a standard laid out by the tractor companies. I do believe the JD makes a good tractor and said that right from the start. I think the big problem with all brands is NO ONE makes a tractor like they did 40 years ago. Then there is the price tag. Everything has gone up so much. Making much harder on us all. I agree both are good tractors. Now days if we do a little research we find out that allot of these tractors are affiliated in someway. Thanks again I do appreciate your comment.

    Diamond R Equipment in Freeburg Missoura has Phenomenal customer service from sales to parts and Service department everyone pretty much knows well Everything they sell. I couldn't find the Torque specs for the Loader Bolts in the MT573 manual and they Immediately told me. When they installed the 3rd function for the Grapple bucket on 1 of the fitting Teflon tape wasn't used and it leaked about ½ gallon before I noticed it called them and they were going to bring me a gallon and they are 35 minutes away .That's Service but I told them know because I had to go by the place the next day. They gave me the 2.5 gallon jug instead of the gallon one because the service manager said by having the 3rd function installed that I needed about a gallon more than the 14.5 gallons recommended. I went into 3 different John Deere dealerships before buying the LS and it was like I didn't exist I showed them my property on my X on hunting app and told them my intentions for the property and what size tractor did they recommended 1st thing outta there mouth was Money ( I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination but I set my budget for max 75k for everything I wanted) I actually just wanted a 40hp but All my big Farming neighbors knew what my plans were and told me that I need no less than 65 hp and they were correct with the money I saved I'm thinking about getting a small 25 to 30 hp open cab LS just to tinker close to the house. I showed Chuck the salesman at Diamond R my property and his 1st words was 70 hp minimum not How much money you got I told him every attachment I wanted and I was gonna buy a Tractor somewhere that day they received full payment immediately. The only other dealership that actually knows and wants your business is Lauf equipment in Jefferson City Missoura and they are a Massey Ferguson Dealer.

    I would Highly recommend Multiseal for your tires it's a Remarkable product I had balist put in the rear tires around 600 to 650 pounds per tire and it takes 5 gallons of the Hydro 1500 per rear tire and a half gallon of HD2500 per front tire. The Hydro 1500 mixes with any Ballist from Beat sugar to Alcohol and it'll self plug up to ¾ in punctures ( my neighbor Swears by it it plugged a 2½ inch Cedar stob hole and tire pressure has never Dropped) my wife and I bought a 84 acre Farm about 50/50 Virgin Woods and Pasture and we have Black Locust Trees Everywhere and Tire repair or replacement Isn't Cheap. The wife gave me permission to buy any Brand that I wanted and I chose LS MT573 because of Value I could have easily bought Green or Orange but I got a 84 inch Iron horse Rotary tiller, 84 inch iron horse box blade and Extreme duty Stump Buster Bucket a LS Grapple bucket and 3rd function and a Extended warranty that covers Bumper to bumper for the Full 6 years unlimited hours and still cost 11k less than a JD 5075E tractor only and nearly 20k on Kubota M4- 071. Value is value and in today's economy you gotta be thinking ahead. Your 50 hrs maintenance video will come in handy shortly I've only got maybe 23 hours on it but I bought a Chain wrench because of the nightmare you had with the Hydraulic filter😂 I went ahead and purchased a Red Dog VacTrac to keep from losing Hydraulic oil during filter changes. Thank you for your videos and the quality of them. I've been curious how long it's gonna take for your rear glass to come in. The MT573 is All the Tractor I need for what we are doing.. Stay safe especially working on the tractor my old dirt bike riding buddy crushed himself to death the day after I purchased mine and his was a sub compact tractor.

    I'm hearing that LS has a major problem with their parts warehouse in the U S . I don't know if your having an issue getting your back glass for your tractor or not. Could you give us an update on when the dealer said you might get the part in your hand ? And on your video about customer service, any place in particular you would care to name, or just a general concern overall ? Have a good one.

      The customer service is a general concern. I have just been seeing the lack of it more than ever. With many places. No concern for the customer. I have heard that the LS warehouse in NC. Got hit by the hurricane but at this time I don’t know any more. If I find out more information I’ll let everyone know. Yesterday I heard that my back glass may take longer than expected. Not sure what that means at this point. Thanks

    I know exactly how you feel with the John Deere dealership in Seguin Texas. I called them to speak with parts to purchase a pallet of net wrap and wanted to find out if they had it in stock. I was on hold for 30 minutes and still no answer. So instead of hanging up, I drove to John Deere while still on hold all the way there. I walked in the store still on hold, and looked at the people behind the counter doing nothing. And on top of that, they didn’t have the net I needed. I still had to go to Shiner to Shoppa’s John Deere and pick up my net wrap. I will say I’ve done a lot of business with Shoppa’s and their customer service has been great. I will also give a shout out to Dietz Tractor. Have purchased multiple pieces of equipment as well as three brand new tractors from them. We had a major issue with one of our tractors and they worked with us until that problem was resolved.

    You gotta do what you can. You don't have to Impress anyone, that becomes expensive and it's kinda Retarded. I just purchased a 2024 LS MT573 it's my 1st Tractor and I got all the Implements that I wanted minus a brush hog I wasn't paying 16.5k for a 12ft batwing so I waited and found a Bush Hog 3210 for 5k excellent condition,it's not shiny Red but it's All Red and No Rust.I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your 50 hour service video will come in handy shortly.

    I agree on the loader. Obviously the lifting capacity is strong, but structurally I feel the design is weak. I feel they probably lightened the loader to increase lifting capacity, if that makes sense. When we are looking at specifications in a brochure, we are just comparing numbers, and numbers sell tractors. I actually recently tweaked my loader moving a downed tree on one of my trails…operator error no doubt, but in hindsight it tweaked pretty easily compared to my other tractors. Measuring pivot pins at SSQA, it was off 1.5” side to side. Quite alarming, but equally alarming was how easily I was able to tweak it back to normal. A few timbers under the low side of the bucket and some careful work with the joystick and I got back to within less than 1/8” side to side. Lesson learned, I’m going to be extremely careful with any off balance work with the loader.

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry to hear that about your loader. I am glad you have it close to where it should be. I just hope that it doesn’t get worse or weaker. I really like my LS from what I am seeing they are going to a different loader on some of their tractors. You are right about specs on paper. It is easy to manipulate them to appear more attractive. I will say that the loader on my MT 573 has done good so far. I hope LS is listening to the concerns of their customers. That will make them a better tractor and more competitive. Thanks

    • @OTGAuGres
      @OTGAuGres 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks…absolutely no visible damage. Wondered if it could be a bolted connection joint somewhere that slipped. Checked everything and all seemed tight. IMO, tractor loaders in general are structurally weak compared to other heavy equipment. Our LS’s are strong tractors with strong hydraulics. With a severe offset load and strong hydraulics, things can go sideways quick. I’m going to be much more careful moving forward. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your content.
