I'm actually really glad Steven made a play for points at the end of the game. He could have blown up the revel in riches, but then he dies to Jon's commander. So he killed the commander, forcing Jon to win by a wincon that makes him lose a point. The crew doesn't make plays for points often and I really like when they do.
I really appreciate yall adding the points and the point screen at the beginning again!! I am such a huge fan of this channel and I doubt yall could do anything to get me to stop watching. Again, it shows how much yall listen to the fans! Thank you guys!!
Corey kept targeting a creature whenever he got a landfall trigger with Geode Rager but the card goads each creature target opponent controls instead. Not sure how that would have changed the game, but it happened a couple of times before it died.
Since Steven wanted to check the comp rules: 122.3. If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it as a state-based action, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it. See rule 704. However... there's apparently some interesting things with last known information and counters further down the document. 704.8. If a state-based action results in a permanent leaving the battlefield at the same time other statebased actions were performed, that permanent’s last known information is derived from the game state before any of those state-based actions were performed. Example: You control Young Wolf, a 1/1 creature with undying, and it has a +1/+1 counter on it. A spell puts three -1/-1 counters on Young Wolf. Before state-based actions are performed, Young Wolf has one +1/+1 counter and three -1/-1 counters on it. After statebased actions are performed, Young Wolf is in the graveyard. When it was last on the battlefield, it had a +1/+1 counter on it, so undying will not trigger.
Really sweet batch of decks. Think the one I'm most excited to see the build of is massacre girl, and Tomik seems cool too. Everyone likes planeswalkersc😂😉
Since Jeremy is wanting to be more evil with the cards he plays can someone make him a Acererak the Archlich deck (i'm not the greatest at list building). It would even give him more points for playing his commander multiple times!
regarding killing all players at the same time, how does this work if i am playing a pod of 4, 1 player is already out and i kill the 2 remaining players on the same turn? i assume this is fine but wasnt sure
Corey says he hates it there and wants to leave well I agree he should leave I hope he leaves and doesn't come back maybe they will get someone that's not a complete moron
Decklists! articles.starcitygames.com/magic-the-gathering/commander-vs-379-murders-at-karlov-manor-commanders-round-2/
Thank you for the lists. Is it possible you have the incorrect Massacre Girl on Jon's list?
@@TedMattos pretty sure its in his deck they just dont put commanders in the decklist if u count it theres only 99
@@killersniper7267 Makes sense. Thanks!

John could’ve sacked enough treasure after Stephen declared no blockers to get more +1s off the equipment to get commander damage
it's wild that Authority of consuls was on the board the ENTIRE game and not one person had removal for it.
It's like playing with my group, if I don't remove something it's there forever.
@@casteanpreswyn7528 I would lose my mind it's also why I play loads of card draw in my decks to dig for answers if I have to.
I love Jeremy sticking to his guns and attacking Steven for commander damage, his is in first place, don’t be dissuaded Jeremy!
Jeremy not attacking the guy with a Wincon on the table pretty much sums up his gameplay.
@@Goodthrust69Jeremy and Cory need to team up or they will continue along this path.
Corey with his Austin Power reference had me dying, lol.
😂😂😂
I would totally watch that video on how to get points.
This episode is a pretty good example of the more combat intensive commander game that Wizards has been trying to foster for the last few years.

Corey with a haircut is complete unrecognizable and employable 😂 just kidding, love the gang. Ready to see the game!
Don’t you dare call me employable! Hahahah 😂
I see you, Corey! Looking fresh with that sick cut!
Just started the video and excited to see Jonathon playing the Massacre Girl. I really want to see his take on this epic legend.
Really sweet batch of decks. Think the one I'm most excited to see the build of is massacre girl, and Tomik seems cool too. Everyone likes planeswalkersc😂😉
Cory, you always look so dapper when you get that fresh haircut.
I expect a Hector Salamanca post stroke costume from Mr. Green and his bell this year.
Since it has wither and massacre girl gives wither. And two negatives make a positive. IT gives +1/1+ counters when it attacks
My girlfriend and I saw three of the four fellas in Chicago this weekend!
I like John just keeps the game going 🤣
Oh... Oh John. That massacre girl deck has seduced me...
I want to make a suggestion to up the saving someone to 2 points since it's once per game, it'll make some dynamic gameplay
That thumbnail… nightmare fuel 😨

Steven should be taking ancient tomb damage
John be cheating with that necroskitter. It only takes creatures that died with -1/-1 counters and Yahenni's Expertise only gives a temporary-1/-1 😂
And the Massacre girl should have been a 1/1 after the deluge but he left it as a 4/4 for so many turns it annoyed me 😑
Could Jon not have sacked 4 treasures and pumped his commander to 21 and killed Mr. Green when he swung at him?
Corey , Aurelia has vigilance :)
So sad stephen didnt play judith cuz i was waiting for it. Even more sad when they pointed out he was gonna
Doesn't stephen take 3 for anguished unmaking
