Hi, that top started as 1.5” thick rough walnut. We worked it from a rough state to what’s called S4S which means we surfaced all four sides. That allows us to glue the three pieces together to make the top. A bunch of sanding then we used general finishes Arm R Seal (three coats) for protection. So we made it. That’s the fun part.
This is simple and modern and color match of dark and light is nice.
