Hello everyone. For today's video (pride day 23) was androgynous planned, but I won't be able to upload today. I am sorry and I promise to upload androgyny in a seperate video and include it in my lgbtq+ video.
I found out I was demiboy a few months ago. No one knows about me being a demiboy bc I'm scared to say it. I have always felt some weird connection about how I always felt like a boy, but the things I liked and wanted did not make sense. And I never see demiboy tiktok videos ever on youtube, so when I stumbled apon this video, I was glad I was not alone and that I can connect and feel myself a lot better. Ik this was very long, but I am tired, its 10:13 pm, and I don't have anyone to talk to about it, so I just said it all here. Hopefully it doesn't change who I am to others.

The way I experience it, demiboy is basically having a connection to the male gender, but not fully (I personally feel partially male and partially nonbinary)

I told my parents I think I'm a demiboy and they started telling me that I need to make up my mind about my gender and sexuality. They then went on to say that I'm just a girl who wants to dress like a boy and that if I identified as a demiboy that I would be insulting everyone who fought and died for their rights and insulting the LGBTQ+ community. They also said that if I don't fully identify as a boy then no one would or should refer to me as one even tho that's what I'm comfortable with. But they also give me lectures about trying to supportive and my dad once said he's trying to be supportive and understanding of the 'lifestyle' I was choosing. My point is that random people on the internet make me feel more comfortable and accepted that my parents do.
I feel more male but also non-binary and don’t have a problem with calling myself a boy and it makes me feel comfortable. Although I’m questioning demi-boy feels right I’m not sure though.

As a Demi boy I feel so nice to actually learn more about me and what I identify as to make sure I'm not confused and what I think I am I have had past genders before that I just wasn't comfortable with because I was bored, a biological girl, but I didn't feel like a girl that what I felt like a boy are used to be trans but I didn't feel like a boy all the way, so I became not binary then I found out Debbie boy I found out the actual meeting and I finally found out who I am

I’m demiboy, but also cisgender. Partially because I don’t feel entirely comfortable with the gender binary, partially because I really don’t want to be associated with _that type_ of cis men. Toxic masculinity and all that.

the way I've thought about it is, imagine gender is lego. there are a lot of male sets, female sets, neutral sets, and there's also those tubs of random pieces. the only limit is your imagination.
I didn't care about lego, I had other toys to play with, and seemingly everyone had lego, so it wasn't anything special. I grabbed a box from the male section put it on a shelf and never paid attention to it. That is, until a lot of people started talking about lego, and how some people opened their box and got a different set than the box said.
I still didn't care about lego all that much, but one day, I got bored and opened my box. It was empty. I'm not one of the people who didn't buy a lego set, I have the box, receipt, and remember where in the store I grabbed it from, but there's nothing there. Because of the box and receipt, I still have some connection with the male lego set I expected to have, but I functionally have nothing.

i feel like i identify with the definition of demiboy, but i've been labeling myself as genderfluid for so long that demiboy just doesn't sound right to me, even if it feels right...i think there's some level of internalized transphobia playing into it, like i'm telling myself that i would never be able to pass as a boy and no one would ever see me as a boy, so it's pointless to try to call myself anything with the word "boy" in it, even though my identity fluctuates between masculine and non-binary pretty much exclusively...

@Poochbean nah I'll reply even if its been like a year lolz. I have just been using demigender and nonbinary for the time. It really just depends. I am going with sometimes demiboy, demigirl, just nonbinary and just girl/boy for now. My gender is the most fluid thing ever, last year I was anything but female, all of a sudden I was anything, then anything but girl, then ust girl, I haven't really made it back to jsut male yet, I've been like just me, like genderqueer, agender, nonbinary, demigirl, A lot if things are fine, sometimes gender fluid is fine. I can never stick with genderfluid although most people say that that's just what I am. But like last year, A whole year almost, I was not a girl and I am this year😭

@@annaaudelia considering your gender is ''fluid'' I would've said genderfluid too but I understand if you don't feel comfortable using that label. there's a possibility you could be pangender meaning you experience ALL genders that are fluid over time or just identify as them all. Or you could be polygender which is the same meaning of pangender expect its not all, just many genders.
