i have no idea how Nvidia build their driver, it just so good that even when VRAM full, it can cache to RAM, with slight perf degrade, albeit with gaming experience went bad by blurry image for a while(sign of VRAM full, even at high settings), in AMD card, it will reduce frame rate considerably, i tested it with SW Outlaws, 6700XT vs 2060, in Toshara while roaming freely, 6700XT will have lower min FPS and sometimes jaggy performance(1440p, med, FSR Balanced), but RTX 2060, at 1080p Med, DLSS Quality, minimum FPS not drop low so much to notice jittery but, image blur happen many times
Через пару лет может выйти проект, который будет потреблять больше 8 гигабайт видеопамяти, и тогда у вас возникнут проблемы, чего НЕ случится будь у вас rx 7600 xt, следовательно я бы советовал вам карту от AMD.
The reason the 7600 is falling short is due to AMD using more memory for textures. On average, AMD GPUs use 500mb of memory more than the Nvidia equivalent. Nvidia’s is actually worse because they tone down texture quality
More than 500. Based on benchmarks I've seen , on average Averge 1.5+ . In some games might about same or very slightly more than AMD, but in some games 2,3,4+(very rarely) . So I wouls say 12GB RTX=14GB RX
I will still do a 6700xt personally, as it is cheaper, has more vram, and is a better performer PER DOLLAR than the 4060ti, it also according to techpowerup is 11% faster than a 4060, but is around the same price. But yes, better driver support always improves performance. I juat happen to like amd's drivers better than nvidia's and i do not like geforce experience. Also i couldnt care less about rtx. Thats just me though.
@ZacharyBruce-Romans-12-2 well yeah 6700xt is amazing, I'm just saying im not used to nvidia adding fps per driver. It's not normal for them but this generation they have done incredible with performance gains since launch. Usually amd is the one who gets better overtime but now nvidia is also. Like my 4080 super. Its gained 15-20fps since launch in some games. That's awesome.
@@reviewforthetube6485 i apologise if i came accross as insulting toward nvidia, or schilling for amd. I am happy to see nvidia taking their drivers seriously. My hope is that intel, and amd, can be enough of a competition so that nvidia has to keep making better drivers, and potentially be more consumer friendly with prices and vram. Also i grew up gaming on nothing but nvidia and on intel cpus. Now that i am older i go for best performance per dollar and lower power draw. The breaker in the house always flipped when i still had my 5800x3d 6900xt build.
@@reviewforthetube6485 my replies have not been going through haha. I used to be big on nvidia. I am no respecter of brands. I go with what gives me best performance per dollar at a reasonable power draw. My old 6900xt ryzen 5800x3d build was throwing breakers.

Yo i'm paying 1050 for a prebuilt with a r5 5500 rx 7600 (dual fan version) 16 gigs 3600mhz ram 550watt psu and win11 or other option is 4060 i5 12400f with 16 gigs 3200mhz 1tb ssd 650w for 1100 (?)
Eh, not ecerything needs be played at Ultra. Drop to High or so and performance increase should be quite significant ,even dramatic in some games thus making them not completely useless at 4K especially with upscaling. Though I probably wouldn't use them above 1440p or so. Maybe Ultrawide(3440x1440)the 4060Ti
Do u have a 4090 or just a 4080 Super because you're on a budget? I bet you didn't even buy the Samsung Odyssey Ark 4K UHD Curved Gaming Monitor for $1,800 either.

I'm debating between getting a 4060 ti 8gb or 7600 xt 16gb... which one would be better for heavily modded rpg/open world games?
Rx
the video is a direct comparison, so just watch and decide your choice.
8GB was already unacceptable years ago.

Its just their pre rendering or AI frame maker tech
