VERY IMPORTANT: I want to correct a mistype on the chelation slide. As I said, it's succimer you want to give to pediatric patients. NOT EDTA.

Been diagnosed with macrocytosis. Waiting & waiting for hematologist. Labs are normal, then abnormal, normal, then slightly abnormal over 4yrs!!! Now since 2020 my B12 dropped from 650's to 350's. Folate from 21.1 to.4.1

basophilic stipples are not iron; in contrast to pappenheimer bodies, its basically RNA; and its Asian (cis), African (Trans); I really like your videos- and I only note the errors when I read the other comments; I should be the last person to correct anyone as I often get things backwards.

Beta thalassemia is now either non-transfusion dependent thalassemia (NTDT) or transfusion dependent thalassemia (TDT)

Forgot to mention that pernicious anaemia patients can also have microcytic anaemia if iron stores and b12 stores are low - possible reason people with Pernicious Anaemia are so often misdiagnosed ??? Side not lots of people with pernicious anaemia are also severely reactive to gluten , possible connection between something in wheat and pernicious anaemia .. doesn’t seem to show on gluten test but ask any PA patient the improvement when they exclude wheat ,
