9m. of this live only. The MV is around 100m in 6wks. The support are real deal. The agency put the right move about creating their survival contents to become this group. They are very popular even before debut. They all are so adorable and so much potential. The supportors want to see them growing to success as superstar as their senior.
Since their debut song (batter up) is an up beat song, which doesn't much of their vocals abilites, so they released this song to show the level of their vocals.
The thing that makes KPOP isn't just the music itself, the fans get all the insight into the making of the music, making of the music videos. Content from the companies/groups that helps them to get to know the groups almost on a personal level. They put a lof of effort into providing content that is outside of music itself. Your description says "cover" of Stuck in the middle but its actually their song and companies will put out multiple videos of the same song but live, choreography focused, special stages, behind the scenes etc. KPOP is more than just the music.
Great Reaction Mr. Harris RYC! BabyMonster was already a Global Girl Group before they even debuted! We watched them going through the ups and downs of the K-pop trainee! And we already know what they are capable of! But Batter Up showcases what they will focus on in the future! Stuck In The Middle is something the company has never done with its other two Girl Groups! But what made this song so special is that it simply was trending top five on TH-cam for about a week! And many reactors from around the world always check out what’s trending and about 90% loved what they heard even those that didn’t care for ballads! Most of them never heard of K-pop! Also BabyMonster consists of 2 South Korean, 2 Thai and 2 Japanese members! Once people find that out they are intrigued! They did a cover of a song called Scars To Your Beautiful that showcased their potential as well!Sorry for the long commentary!🧸🙏🏻
If you looking at this song alone, it might be a good song. If you have the chance to get to know them like each individual and how the group is formed, the expectation fans are holding and overall kpop scene, then you will see what make it great.
One factor that makes KPOP songs got this kind of views is simply that KPOP fandoms are huge and very passionate. With this song being either good or a great song depends really on our personal preferences. A good song to you might be a bad song for somebody else and mighy be a great song for me. Kpop fans obviously are loving it.
Did you know "Why? 9 M. views. It's very easy answer, just one word " LOVE " because the people love them. They feel that these girls are their families (daughters, sisters, and friends). This is very strong marketing strategy of YG for BM, and you never understand " how big impact of their fans' LOVE to them. I hope that it's clear for you! (LOVE is everything and it's better than your great song.).
Hello! For your question, it's because of the fans that love them. But, firstly, they just debuted and they are starting and taking it slow. Secondly, before they became a group and debuted, they came from a lot of stress, pressure, and hard work. You can watch THE LAST EVALUATION in their official YT CHANNEL for you to understand how their group formed and why people love them. If you think about it, K-Pop is different, which is a given. Their music is not just about music itself, it's like a balance. They sing, but they're not simply a singer; they dance, but they're not really a dancer. They perform. They have diversity. They can sing, dance, rap, they have stage presence and more. But their talents, were all because of hard work. It came from practice. Not all of them can dance or sing at first, or simply speak English, and Korean itself because some came from Japan and Thailand. It's just so fulfilling that after so many years of hard work, practice, etc., now they have their own songs. They're releasing their mini album later, BTW. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you are looking for artists/singers like in the Philippines. Artists/singers here in the Philippines are different. It's like a country of singers with no limits. I am very proud and take pride for them. P.S. I agree that it's not a hit song, but they deserve the views. I also honestly think that they should give them some high notes or whatever you call it, but, hey, they're just starting. Now I highly recommend you to watch THE LAST EVELUATION and you won't be disappointed. It's a mix of everything. I love your reaction, pls do more.
The agency that manages them has an international target market, for that reason it seeks that its members have the knowledge and command of 2 or more languages apart from the native one. And this group is confirmed by 2 Thai, 2 Japanese and 3 Korean
I always enjoy your Reactions, Mr. Harris. I may not agree with everything you say but I do appreciate your honesty. I've git some suggestions for you from Dingo NCT 127 ,BIG MAMA,EXO RED VELVET And BTOB look forward to your reactions to these there all ChefsKiss..
just to back up what you are saying, both Batter Up and this song Stuck In The Middle, were released premature in a way. Once April 1 rolls around, the Mini Album will drop and both of these song will change drastically. the reason: This group is a 7 member group but only 6 girls are singing on both of these tracks. The seventh girl who is actually the #1 girl, had health issues and did not debute with them initially, but she is back now and they are re-releasing both of these songs with all 7, plus some new stuff also, hopefully. It will definitely sound fuller, different, better hopefully.
There are 3 versions of Stuck in the Middle dropped. It is about marketing. First version was the m/v. Compared to their debut song Batter Up which smashed the fastest 200 million in kpop debut history the view rate for this ballad was very slow. YG then.dropped version 2, called the Special Stage version with the girls holding hand microphones which looked live but they did not label as live. Then they dropped a 3rd live version which you are watching. The view rate went nuts because you have got to listen to all 3 to work out all the differences you expect of what looks like 2 live versions and where is the raw live studio version for the m/v? Was the live version the raw studio production which you normally expect to see gym clothing, headsets and big round microphones? Or did they dress the girls up for a raw studio recording for the m/v. I have been lured into listening so many times to work out the differences and the more you listen, the song grows on you. You start to really hear those voices and every time the song hits you hard emotionally. I cry. The song does draw out forgetten memories.
So true. This version was the one the really make you appreciate that Rami is out there basically as this solid backbone for the song just vocally harmonizing on pitch throughout to make everything sound put together . Her voice was baicly the other insturment:D with this song they just wanted to show off the stability and range of the girls given that so many other groups these days seem to more or less just be performers with a handful of vocalist that can sing well live. All of them can sing well live. That's what makes them stand out among the other 'junior's groups. I think maybe even just babymonster and Nmixx right now...
*BABYMONSTER members (OT7)* : 1. Ahyeon (She is Korean. She was born in 2007). 2. Shin Haram/Rami (She is Korean. She was born in 2007). 3. Rora (She is Korean. She was born in 2008). 4. I love them so much. They have so much potential. They are great. In BABYMONSTER's 'BATTER UP' M/V, 1st Rapper Ruka 2nd Rapper Asa BABYMONSTER's Asa co-wrote and co-composed 'BATTER UP'.

Please react to Wendy on the Lee Mujin Service. I personally think she has the best female vocals in kpop. She sings a cover of "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston and it's amazing.
since this group is a group from yg, it follows that they are a hiphop group, they dropped this to shown that they can also sing... its ok if this is not that great... this is just their 2nd song... big numbers in views just means many are curious about babymonster... on what they can offer
Its getting views cause of the girls themselves, their individual performance have tens of millions views themselves. Its the fanbase giving them the views. the actual m/v for this song has 100m views. But as you said for fans it being in english is a factor as we have heard them sing in other languages for them to do it in english is was great. The song itself could have used their voices and had more moments that stuck out, needs more dynamics. If you wanna see something different check out their first song, Babymonster Batter up, hiphop song.
Hi Mr. Harris please react to these two groups - Korean Soul and Kings Return. Also Jahmene Dougles past and present videos of your choice. They are all really good.
I see what you mean “GOOD NOT GREAT” 😅 After watching their carols cover you may have high expectation for their original one. This is how YG run their artists. Seem like some girls have been hidden their ability, right? I suppose, they plan to hi-light each member one by one in the original song. These girls have such a versatile talents their voices suite more than one or two type of music. The cover one may a lot more free to go. Members may have their part selection themselves, who know?😊 (Original one is producer/director choice no doubt)

Would like to see you react to their individual performances. They are short, so could be easily fitted into I reaction video
