I knew things weren't as they seemed just because you're you. Like watching Hitchcock or Tarantino. You know there's a secret to be revealed. But that just adds to the flavo(u)r. Plus you said in the description the caper would be turned on its head.
HOWEVER! I was pissed (American meaning) that you showed Charlie escaping unharmed. I think "cut" right after the fight sounds would be much more powerful, as we were rooting for the "good bad" guy and wouldn't know if Sarah had "helped" him, too.
Cool that you put yourself in your films. I look forward to seeing who/what you're going to be each time.

@@louisjamesactor I'd assume a high chance Sarah is "helping" Charlie the same way she did her husband and Charlie helped her dad. Full circle.
It could also go the way you depicted, but not knowing, to me, is more delicious.
I must add, one factor that caught my attention early on was Sarah not crying out, and being bound with such exquisite turns and knots. So my first thought was "S&M tryst, she's not in danger. Do not mess!"
