Guys, I think some of you don't understand the tip of "Mix the drink at the beginning of the match" this is if you are in a bad place like I was, ofc if you spawn in a good place you should wait, if the hunter is following other you should wait to mix it and do not get the -8% decoding, but if you see this: 2:59 I was in a really bad place and I know the hunter could go for this place first, so i just mix the drink and the hunter was near me already, so everything is situational, You should mix the drink depending the situation.

Barmaid is not a rescuer. She is a kiter/ healer. You should use her wine to heal the merc who takes FOREVER to heal or herself whilst in a chase. Joseph counters her, but she does the same vice versa. The speed up drink should be used to change kiting area/ get to a better ones. Don’t give it to other survivors just to heal them (except merc) USE YOUR HANDS.
Barmaid is a kiting/support character. Healers come under the category support

She needs more, maybe one more mixing bottle or at least another second or two increase for the speed wine cause it’s just rlly bad imo. I use it at the end of the game, but most of the time it’s just for fun and not because I’m being chased.
Edit: oh and remove the debuff when mixing, it doesn’t make sense y it tips her when she doesn’t even drink it.
The only time someone is actually good is if they stun a lot, avoid healing and hits, or just be toxic... Barmaid is good in her own way like a supporter. Though I don't agree with the drinking in the beginning of the match though. She is pretty A at most because she cuts out lots of time from hunters which is a crucial thing in the game. I played her a few times and she is a time saver when it comes to healing or kiting. So she is not OP or trash, she is solely based on how you use her. Plus there is no such thing as good survivors or trash ones. I meet plenty of trash geishas, blood queens, rippers, perfumers, seers, embalmers, fowards, etc. Fyi I'm not low tier either, so I know this game well enough for those who would say that. In all, this video gave a good tips like to use a drink to work like a perfumer minus the trash healing. 🥂
Pretty sure everyone will found their own style to use her, I hope they give her a chance, I think she is decent survivor
@@Exilio like yeah I play characters not based on the fandom but for my style. And what I HATE the most is the healing which takes up decoding time. And I would waste persona space dealing with this issue.

Tbh I’m actually trying to get used to her ever since she got released. I just sometimes get the dovlin and duphrin mixed up sometimes lol. Rip me.

THANK YOU FOR THIS 🙏 honestly, it's so annoying to keep hearing the same thing from most people who only played her once or not at all that she is ''useless'' lmao. they really just dont bother to learn how to use her because her skills are complicated or hard to use for them. they just wanted a survivor who will do everything for them and win the match for them.

The speed drinks should only be used when detention is activated cause you are one hit anyway
I sometimes use it when transitioning kiting spots, I use her speed wine.

The speed wine actually kinda sucks, I barely use it cuz I get a 2 second speed boost but the hunter still catches up to me. I was pretty much only using the other one.

Ohh I use this build on barmaid too it's great and yeahh barmaid is one of my new favourite survivors she is so good at kiting and if u know about her bottles u can easily have 3 cioh kite and more

Btw at the start of the match u also have D.U.P.H.R.I.N ( a wine) that u can only use when y are not injured ( u dont have to make it its already in the bucket) it gives u a speed bust for 2 seconds ( i use it to prevent getting hit) hope it helps anyone :))

as a barmaid main i don’t recommend giving drinks out to other people unless the hunter is near and you don’t have time to heal them. the drinks are better to keep in case you need to rescue and bodyblock or kite.

I think they should buff him i mean, even without buff shes good but in my opinion the strong dovlin's way too limited, It should be like 3 or 4
One more tip. Drink healing wine before you rescue a survivor with tide turner, and to do that you must get hit from hunter.
That sound interesting, but risky, because if the hunter hit you before you rescue, you just will die
@@Exilio No i mean like if have a full health and get hit by normal attack you can drink the wine and then rescue the survivor with tide. Sorry if i confuse you or anything

I think the first tip is not right in some cases. If you mix at the beginning of the match, i agree you will surely safe, but you will get 8% debuff in decoding. I think you dont need to mix at the beginning, you should watch and predict if the hunter will chase you or not,if they chase you, keep distance choose a safe area to kite and mix :)
That can help to but is too risky, there is a lot of ways that you can use that drink, but for example, in the minute 2:59 if o do not mixed the drink at the beginning I would have die, but also I understand what you mean, if the hunter is with someone else you could not mix her drink, but if you appear in a risky spawn, you should mix it, you know there are spawns that the hunter go directly and sometime survivor just appear in that risky part of the map, like that you should mix the wine etc, I think barmaid can be use very well if ppl learn her
Yeah i understand the problem and your opinion. My thought is risk and the hardest thing is that you have to predict if the hunter will come to you or not and depend on the area we spawn. It is totally safe when you mix at the beginning but the price is that you decode slower. Anyway, these are two ways to play her, i think :D

I personally don’t think you should get Broken Windows for Barmaid’s persona build, since Barmaid can kite fine and can stall enough time to heal up. I use Tide Turner instead, because the hunter will likely be camping the rocket chair, so if you rescued the survivor in the rocket chair, that survivor won’t last long. Running from the hunter also gives you no time to heal up the survivor and it wastes more time to try and save the survivor again after healing with your bottle. If you bring Tide Turner with Barmaid, you can give more time for your teammates to decode, and additionally heal up with your bottle if the hunter went for the rescued survivor.
If you don’t agree with my reasoning of why I think Tide Turner is better for Barmaid, then please let me know what you think in the replies.

Actually i think she is more affective than doctor. Only because she can do all non- stoping 🤔
i got a really good barmaid in high elo rank, she was really annoying, your rightthough, tide turner is bad for her,
shes is good at rescuing if you know your timing, she took a hit then rescue and healed then took the second hit for the other survivor to get some distance, she did this 2 times which got me cipher rushed, but i still killed them at the end
she can be as annoying as merc in high ranks, if that barmaid knows how to use her skills,

I dont mix at the start to decode faster. i mix while kiting though it may be risky

she's good and all but her running speed is way too low
Her running speed is the same as other survivors, the problem is her animation when running, makes she looks slow

She is pretty good when partnered with great kiting, and can really make the hunter leave you. She is not worth chasing tbh coz she can waste time. Merc is a good survivor to partner with her it seems coz she can use the wine to heal him

That is something that you need to think about, since pretty sure after this video, people will have their own conclution, but to me is that she can be a good kiter

What you can do is don't mix in the beginning of the game, instead mix when there's 3 or 2 cyphers left. If found first you can mix when you pallet stun the Hunter or you have enough distance, it's pretty quick.

Well, she doesnt have veteran bonus, almost all characters except the main cast dont have Veteran so she has the same speed as others. Strong Dovlin can really help you when getting chased or when you have a teammate that takes forever to heal ( Merc for example ) and 8% debuff is not a big deal. So stop complaining about her being weak, she has potential.
Tbh barmaid is kinda worse than i expected
