Amazing how taking such short snippets of adverts can completely recontextualize the sound. This whole time I thought the audio was pulled from some old television shows covering artists and their work (something I watched quite a bit of in one of my college art classes which focused on contemporary issues within fine arts and photography).
Missing Samples: - Under the city - Between two worlds (title track) - Deleted space - Fading energy - Abandoned earth - A curious orb of light - Memory limitations in artificial intelligence If you recognize any of the samples for these tracks, please tell!
that was actually my original plan for this vid! 20% through making it i realized it would be like an hour and a half long so i decided to shelve most of it and only leave in between two worlds lol. i might finish that sometime… it wouldn’t be hard to edit, just tedious for now i’ll leave you with this: docs.google.com/document/d/1Af_tVE2DxfAIpaQ34MjGb-cOJcyEwCc5oaH5cuEZdPs/edit

That's the beauty of sampling. Reconstructing pre-existing recordings, and turn it into something different.
It's impressive that so many have been found by how short and obscure the samples are (especially the one for no escape)
