Benrey does kinda have a resemblance to Turbo, huh? The helmet, depicted with his eyes in the shadows? The song fits with Dr. Coomer's request at the end about wanting to spend more time with Gordon, I'm assuming that was the reason this song was chosen.
Yeah, it kinda shows a point which is kinda depressing, just like the end, where you no longer can have time with them, it is also like leaving life like we know it. Yeah, I know, depressing.
I noticed some time ago that a lot of people draw him like Turbo. Dunno how I feel about it, though.

love how gordon is leaning on coomer at 1:15 it's such a nice touch cause those two actually have a kind of underrated friendship like there's a lot of points throughout the series where they just genuinely care about each other despite everything. idk this is just a nice pic cause they're all just chilling with sodas

I just joined in on this fandom and I can say that I don’t regret it. it’s so much fun to see what other people have done with this batch of chaotic characters and sort of turned them into they’re own this is just another great example of that, Kudos to everyone involved and awesome job!

I just wanna shout out how fantastically paced and important the scene at 1:41 is? Just - you can *feel* poor Dr. Coomer's existential dread when he comes to the sudden realization that, in fact... *There's nothing out there.* The use of the "missing texture" as well, a brilliant detail.

I loved the visual of Coomer realizing what his reality is, but my favorite animation has to be Benreys transformation at 3:05. The movements are so cool

Comments about how the models from Half Life are white and how “there weren’t that many minorities in the series I hate that there’s more diversity in the character designs” will be deleted. I wasn't aware it was racist to point out inaccuracies to the player models, I personally think you should remain true to the player models, mainly because accuracy. If the comments were the the way you said there were, although they were poorly worded, it's pretty silly to outright censor them
@@kentaIzzy Asking why the designs differ from models isn’t racist, but being nasty and saying they shouldn’t get to design them differently (if you believe that artists can’t and shouldn’t just because you think so) is. My channel, my comments section. I can turn off the comment entirely, but choose to let folks provide positive feedback to the artists.

i hope in the sequel (which they have somewhat confirmed its just gonna take a while) Tommy keeps his personality but over the time Gordons been in stasis he gets some of G-mans powers like freezing time teleportation etc. id find that to be a very interesting thing to see what they would do with that sorta concept
that "Goodbye Gordon" made me feel every emotion ever all at once and it feels amazing

My favorite parts of this whole thing were the resonance cascade part and coomer's "there's nothing there" scene. Every animator did a great job too, and it's cool to see a mashup of everyone's styles!
I adore the fact that HLVRAI Gordon has long hair and a pony tail, and usually tends to be drawn with a little more tan and or darker skin tones and just seems tired and panicked half the time, I just love how it's a way to tell him apart from any other sort of Gordon Freeman, and tbh it fits him

I watched the progress on a few of these parts, and while I thought they were spectacular one their own, I cannot even begin to describe how utterly incredible this MAP is. The parts came together SO WELL, my jaw is literally dropping more than Coomer's when he sniffs with his mouth.
