I like the idea that Vault 76 had special cartoons made for it because of it’s purpose, and because of being exclusively made for Vault 76 it was made in color, whilst the cartoons from the other games were made for Vault Residents / Personnel or as advertisements, where the TVs are only in Black & White

The ironic thing about these cartoons is that they all indicate that competitive PvP play was intended to be a major element of the game. Bethesda must have assumed that the opportunity for players to hunt and kill other players would be a key attraction to the game. The developers completely misread their own audience. Instead, these videos operated as a major red flag to would-be Fallout 76 players. The message was essentially, "It's like Fallout 4 except you'll be obligated to play with the type sociopathic asshole griefers that you regularly find in GTA online! And they'll have access to nuclear bombs!" Fallout fansites at the type were filled players saying, "Fuck that! I won't by playing it then." Bethesda panicked and responded by nerfing the PvP system to hell. In the launch version PvP was made into a by-invitation-only mode. Various attempts at find other ways to integrate PvP -- a separate "survival" mode and a battle royale mode -- were tried and abandoned when the developers realized players weren't using them.

I’m a classic fallout fan and a newer fallout fan, but fallout 4 disappointed me and 76 downright hurt me. But, I will say that all of these animations are the best thing to come out of the two post obsidian fallout games.
