    Elected celebrities as policy makers express problems with American infrastructure and its direction. People become familiar with celebrities based on their exposure in the media, which is unfortunately much more than the exposure given to political issues. The free market also determines success of media outlets, which means that the exposure is only a natural result of the value systems in America. People are probably morally commended for going to watch a movie because they can't construct their own idea of morality. The media has demonstrated a way to influence the masses.
    It would be awesome if Alan interviewed Noam Chomsky!

      @@c5quared626 no it would be under a spotlight if he simply titled it Only Liberals burn in Hell. That way he puts conservatives and progressives into the same place where they can be dissected. Also both think it means something other than what it could mean. Maybe i'm thinking the writer is more aware of the situation than simple Trump hate of Orange man Bad.

    I am politically apathetic. I don't enjoy too much exposition, subtext complex philosophy. I am not dumb. I am not gifted. I do not have the eyes to be a leader of family and legacy generations. I'm only simple minded, cooperative, and curious. I feel like my mindset. Is like that of a child and baby. I may be a young adult. But, I feel nervous, timid, and scared to be a leader. I do not fit in the political landscape world.

      Philosophical Views From Margaret Thatcher.
      "I think we have gone through a period when too many children and people have been given to understand "I have a problem, it is the Government's job to cope with it!" or "I have a problem, I will go and get a grant to cope with it!" "I am homeless, the Government must house me!" and so they are casting their problems on society and who is society? There is no such thing! There are individual men and women and there are families and no government can do anything except through people and people look to themselves first. It is our duty to look after ourselves and then also to help look after our neighbour and life is a reciprocal business and people have got the entitlements too much in mind without the obligations".

      Why Too Much Freedom of Speeches Can Be A Bad Thing For Youths.
      This is why sometimes freedom of speeches can also be harmful to children too. While a good thing, it can also be a downside to them as well. Parents should be the ones what to decide their decisions. And the protection and safety for the youth groups. Not the government. Not the social justice warriors. And not the ideals of rebellious anarchy movements.

      Alan Moore is trapped in the political narrative he developed in sth 1980s and 90s and he won't rid himself of it because it's connected to his writings. It was the political stance to take to be anti-establishment in the 1980s and 90s when he made his greatest works, so he's stuck in that era.
      He doesn't realize Rorschack was right. He's on he side of the globalists that lied to create world peace.
      the world would turn into a totalitarian military state that embraces centralization out of fear. Moore thinks this is a healthy foundation.

      @@MicahMicahel I think you're half-right - there were few things more embarrassing than seeing "anarchist" Alan Moore coming out for the EU, of all things - but no, Rorschach wasn't right either, there's gotta be a cosy Middle Way. I think Moore's greatest works are his more recent magickal ones, you have to accept there's going to be occasional cringe moments but he has the sense not to talk politics too much in his work.

    This has to be some of the most brain-damaged RUBBISH, I've ever heard. Yes, Game of Thrones is wildly popular because it is an "enactment of [American] foreign policy." Which makes total sense despite GoT being GLOBALLY popular; and despite that the violent cultures in GoT are mostly based on European cultures that were, in fact, incredibly violent and the biggest colonizers in human history. I think Alan Moore is a genius writer, but sadly Europeans are always searching for validation of their seething hatred and envy of America, and are absolutely delighted when that validation comes from the mouth of an American (be it Noam Chomsky) or an opportunistic nobody desperate to sell a book.

    • @TheAlmightyAss
      @TheAlmightyAss 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Considering how much Americans lap up european culture to the point of absurdity, I don't think europeans have anything to be envious off. It may be hatred though, and you don't really need validation for that, it's self-evident.

    • @superturkle
      @superturkle ปีที่แล้ว

      agreed. the opinion expressed about GoT indicates that the author isnt familiar with history in general. its the same kind of grasping at straws that lefty intellectuals engage in when seaching for more ways to denigrate america or the west in general. if only they realized how good it is to live in the west, and that the convenience and safety of such is the consequence of real history. this includes every dead indian, and every dead nazi. history is a complicated mess and doesnt conform to simplified notions of right or wrong.

    • @MicahMicahel
      @MicahMicahel 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Read Watchmen. Alan Moore thinks Rorschack was the bad guy. He actually thinks the globalism is a good thing. that's the opposite of anarchism. Glonbalism is like corporatism. Leading from the top down. anarchism is the bottom up. Listen to Michael Malice for anarchist thought. He wrote the Anarchist Handbook. Anal Moore seems to not really know what he's talking about which is okay as long as he still writes good stories. I haven't read anything he's written in the last 30 years but I love his old stuff. I probably like his newer stuff. I just haven't read it.
      P.S. I didn't mean to write Anal Moore! It might've been spell check.. it's too funny to correct. I don't mean anything at all by it.

    • @TheAlmightyAss
      @TheAlmightyAss 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Presumably as it would help to abolish nationalism, which is vitally needed.
      I assume the anarchists dream is a globalist society where we are run by an administration, not dominated by lords.

      @@gunkwretch3697 fascism demands large government. One of the main values of right wingers is small government and individual's rights over the government's How is fascism right wing? Libertarianism and Fascism are polar opposites to each other. Fascism and communism are almost the same thing. ww2 Germans were very interested in identity politics just like the modern left. Please tell me how libertarianism and fascsim can both be right wing if they are polar opposites? It's almost like right wing has no meaning to you.
      Fascism requires centralized government, which is the big thing right wingers reject. Right wingers value de-centralized government. How do you understand fascism to be right wing? answer: it's propaganda for a long time that fascism is right wing and they developed the horse shoe theory to make up for the logical problem.
      Right wingers value protecting oneself from the government! That's the opposite of fascist values! fascists don't allow citizens to keep guns in case the government becomes their enemies.
      the left are the side with all the corporate backing now. the corporate ESG scores are leftist values the the right rejects. THE media is mostly leftist.
      Alan Moore's political understanding is from the 1990s and he hasn't caught up. He's a globalist and apparently considers Rorschack to be wrong. He doesn't realize the lie at the end of Watchman would create a world obsessed with military power and centralization.
      The far right really should be anarchism or libertarianism. The guy that wrote the Anarchist Handbook is Michael Malice and he's right wing really because he's the extreme version of being against centralized government.
      Libertarianism used to be a leftist value bt he left has turned ... fascist? Authoritarian at the very least. Now they don't believe in free speech or bodily autonomy.

      @@MicahMicahel When right-wingers say they want small government, they actually mean that they want to be free to exploit, cheat, and kill whoever they want without interference. As soon as the subject of, say, gay rights or women's reproductive rights, suddenly they are very much for government meddling and big state control. You're a good example of how anti-knowledge the right are. I don't know of any proof that fascism demands a large state. With enough propaganda about external threats you can rule people with a pretty small number of people at the top. Example, the nazi party, leading up to ww2. Also you should learn to differentiate between authoritarianism and right/left wing politics. Not all left wing politics are Soviet style authoritarian. As usual right wingers are so drenched in braindead propaganda that you can't accurately describe your opponents positions.
