Man I just started working on AC and refrigeration, I am totally new to this, no experience and being trained by my boss who has been in it for 40yrs. I had to check on one of these exhausts today. After watching this WOW! You explained it in great detail. I will be more confident after watching this. Thanks bro.
Hi how are i'm from Ethiopia... I received a maintenance request from restaurant, the problem is ,smoke extracter is making high noise... the fan is connected with three phase motor with belt, i disconnect the belt and let the motor to work alone and no noise ,start working in good conditions but when i connect the motor to the fan using the belt it stat making high noise what could the problem? thank you!
My boss would have a heart attack because you didn’t readjust the pulleys and motor… that’s the only thing I hate about these. The other day I noticed one of the fans, the bearings are shot. So to replace I need to take the housing, and motor off.
Today I tried to change the Ax-25 size belt and it was more difficult than I thought because it was very tight when trying to put it on I had to use a lot of force to get it to fit but it broke I don't understand it was the same size
This is exactly what i needed. First time doing it myself and couldnt figure how to put the belt on. After watching, it went on flawlessly. Thank you

Thank you so much brother for posting this video. Good bless and be safe
What if the belt is too tight to get onto the bully to begin with? Wrench it on with a screwdriver?

Right belt used to fix the exhaust fan on a captiveaire a 23 works well as well as a 4l😊
I'd replace my belt every 2 years, so I always forgot how to replace it, Thanks for the video.
I normally grease up those bearings during preventive maintenance and belt change outs as well.
Thanks so much for this! So easy
Are there tension adjustments?
Hello. I noticed the original belt was a 4L then you changed to an A belt type. Did this reduce the noise?
How often do they have to get replaced?
Easy mode thanks to this video
Good video. Any idea what the proper rpm of the fan should be?
Please refer to this more detailed video: th-cam.com/video/mQVG8DKO4LE/w-d-xo.html
My motor is running really loud. Is there a way to fix it?
Could you tell me the specification/size of the new belt? this will be an interview question for me in a few days . How do you change the fan belt?
Look up your number on the machine. Then belt number should be listed.
can excessive vibration be a belt that needs changing
Where do u buy it from?
WHY DOES THE EXHAUST vibrate A LOT?
Some vibration is normal as the motor is mounted on rubber shocks, too much vibration could be attributed to dirty fan blades or bad shaft bearings.
Save my ass from losing 400bucks ty man
If it were that damn easy, I wouldn't have searched for this video!😡
Seemed easy when he changed it , I’m new to this biz
Thank you
