Hi! I'm Brian Barczyk, and I have been daily vlogging on TH-cam since May 10, 2016 sharing my amazing life filled with animals. My journey here on TH-cam and social media has been truly magnificent and magical. Since 2016, I've been part of TV network series, produced my own documentary in South Africa, traveled the world to meet incredible animals and animal lovers, started a podcast, created a convention for animal content creators, built and expanded The Reptarium - an interactive reptile Zoo in Utica, Michigan and so much more.
In March 2023, just as we were ready to break ground on our expanded facility, I received a life-altering diagnosis of inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. Despite the challenges and my fears, the amazing community we've built on TH-cam over the last 7+ years has kept me inspired to continue sharing my journey.
Now, I'm fully committed to building our expanded facility, Legasea Aquarium & The Reptarium, just across the street. This project represents resilience and the pursuit of dreams in difficult times. With the incredible support of our community, the #ReptileArmy, we're turning obstacles into opportunities. Together, let's create a brighter future for reptiles and all animals, inspiring others to embrace their passions in the face of adversity.

Good Morning Reptile Army! Thank so much for understanding my situation and being there to support me. I am obviously struggling and this past few weeks I have ben declining.Bit I am not giving up. I still have the trial that I wil be on soon. There will. be days when I can to go I to vlog and there will be days when I do but I feel like garbage and probably look like garbage too. I am still so committed to getting the LegaSea fished and being there for opening day. I just have to take things as they come and still be grateful for what I have. Love you Gus so much! Brian

I survived some thing I should have died from. And then a friend of mine passed from something minor.
God keeps us here while he still needs us.
So obviously you still have more to do.
Jay, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you are an amazing person and friend. The bond you and Brian share is great and it warms my heart knowing he has you and Lori by his side.
Brian you were definitely missed and I’m so happy to hear you’re doing ok after the surgery.

I haven't cried since I lost my father 9 years ago to lung cancer. I just cried my eyes out. Brian also my father's name. You will never be gone. You will always be in all our hearts. You have changed so many life's. You may be gone way to soon. But you made the biggest impact !! Jade and Noah, I know how hard this time is for you but just remember one thing. You made him Proud and Lori you will keep his legacy going for many years to come I just know it. I hope 1 day I can come from the UK and get to see the amazing zoo and aquarium you have created. To see Jay cry as well just shows how much of a bond you guys have and how much he really cares. Brian I know you’re trying so hard to fight cancer and you’ve got this! I know when I went through severe depression I wanted to give up but I kept fighting and I knew all the people in my life that cared would miss me so much and just someone saying don’t give up meant and still means so much to me. Don’t give up! You’ve got this! Keep going! 😉

I love being able to come back and see Brian. He left us a legacy and catalog to always be able to remember him. He might not physically be here but we can visit him anytime we want to. We all miss you Brian. Fly high and get that aquarium/reptarium ready for us when we finally see you again.

I was able to visit the Reptarium for the first time last month and it was absolutely beautiful. I've been watching this channel a few years before the repatrium was built. I always wanted a reason to go up to Michigan to visit. I'm excited to see the aquarium some day❤️ Brian you helped me get over my fear of snakes. I held Perdida while I was up there and she's not that little baby snake you brought home in one of your vlogs anymore. Thank you so much for all you do. We stand behind you Brian! Keep fighting ❤
The amount of education i've gotten from this channel is priceless. From animals I never understood, to animals I never knew existed, I can't thank you enough.

Hang in there Brian ….. praying for you. I’ve been struggling since 2012 with a number of medical conditions. I survived a massive heart attack and two major back surgeries and I understand well what’s it’s like to endure.

I lost my brother to Pancreatic Cancer just a couple years ago.
I wish I could just take off and come from Toronto over to help and support you. However I've been in hospital at least three out of the past four months months, confined to bed and my electric wheelchair. Hopefully I'll recover a bit more soon. I may be 68, but I have a lot of experience and ability.
God's best to you, my friend anything is possible, annything can happen.

It just breaks my heart to see such a good and caring person suffer and go through one of the worst diseases. My brother just recently got diagnosed with lung cancer. He has already lost so much weight and hair. I'm praying for you everyday Brian🙏

Aw man, scrolling through the feed then seeing the "I'm back " tn, my heart sank and jumped for joy all at once. Then remembering he's in paradise right now. Dang, now back to reality and I'm saddened lol. So many emotions in a split second. Amazing.
