Hi Tina. I'm going to see if I can find that 📚 book and one with birds. You always inspire me to try something new. Hope you and the kids are doing well. Mine are spoiling me. I just turned ,78 and my daughter the youngest took me with her and we got pedicures and lunch. We went to Ikea today and looked around and had lunch with my oldest daughter. They all come over Saturday and cooked BBQ for dinner

Morning Tina, lovely book and the masterboard with your green dyed papers are scrumptious. I would love to see a journal cover made with this green, flowery paper. It would be such a lovely Journal, can you imagine, all flowery, lacey and with your vintage digitals, AWESOME. Loving the purple it just speaks Royalty to me both are beautiful but, the purple is as you say “ Scrumptious “ lol 😂. The flower book in the states here on Amazon is $13. I will buy 2 rip one up & keep the other. Excited to see what great ideals you make with them. Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️

I couldn’t bare to tear that book up. I’d be photocopying everything. Even when I get an old book from the library for the purpose of mixed media, it’s difficult to use. I’m hopeless. I have my dad to thank for this obsession.
What a beautiful book Tina, yes probably pricey but when you think a paper pack could be that much and not nearly as beautiful. These pages seem like the perfect size to make some envelopes and they would be double sided, and some lovely journal cards.💕
Great point about comparing the price to a paper pack, I hadn't thought of it that way, thank you, you have made it seem much less extravagant, and as you say it is a lovely book x

Hi Tina, first off, I want to say you are always so much fun to watch and make me giggle. I love your collage ideas. I just started making this botanical collage recently with a wonderful find here in Germany. I use black and white botanicals and it ends up looking like a very beautiful stamp. I have not tried the color ones yet, both are in my books. Thank you as always, for sharing ✨❤️✨

I know it is to late, but you can put out shapes like butterflies, hearts, and scalloped circles with your lovely colored papers.

Yes, it was a bit disappointing, I nearly sent it back, but I am so pleased that I kept it now. To be fair on reflection, if the pages had been bigger, I might have struggled to use it. Get yours out, and have a play, you will love it x

That book pages are stunning with any other background. I thought the book pages one needed more florals though. The mix of the colored pages, the florals and the book pages are stunning. Of course I think that the pure is stunning mixed into your 1at one cause I love purple I love anth of them !!!

I understand that it's a brave decission to cut from the backside, for me it was too. But one time done, I do it all the time now. It's always fun and a big suprise (in a positive way). Go for it 🤩

I love these master boards! I've just made some storage pouches from a couple I stencilled, I think they'd be cute as gift bags!. Great idea using these illustrated pages. Those purple pink and gold papers you made are stunning 😍 shame you can't really scan or print the metallics. Love you delighted intake of breath, it's the same as your daughter's. I love greens too, especially teal 😍 have it in my living room. I'm not brave enough to blind cut! looking forward to seeing what you do with these. Tfs 💖
Oh, thank you thank you for rising your camera. I vote for you to leave it there. When we can see the entire project we can get a better idea of what you are doing.
Love the book page collaging. They are fun to make, you can use up things that may be just sitting around and so handy to use the collage for many things.

I really appreciate your feedback about the camera height, it's so tricky, and sadly I can't just get it into a position and leave it, as different projects being different sizes, the camera is always needing adjusting to try and fit things in. I will really try and keep your feedback in my mind going forward though, thank you x

Hi Tina, after you did the second one and pulled the first one in and said that it looked boring… then brought in the purple painted sheet of paper, and then hesitated. I KNEW you would use it!! 😀. And they turned out absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait till you cut them up to see what you make with them. Orrrr, are you going to hoard them?😂😂. I wouldn’t blame you one bit if you did 😊.

OMG! I only bought this a couple of days ago myself! I love it! I was going to cut up a book of hers I already have, only to discover it would cost me well over £30 to replace it, so bought this one instead. :)

Me too, everything I’ve touched today has either fallen in the dogs water bowl and soaked the kitchen floor, the mayo rolled off my salad onto the tray, I slopped tea in the hallway, burnt my thumb, I think I should have stayed in bed! Lol

I have been purchasing flower arranging books at the flea market to cut up and I feel good about rescuing them!!
This book itself isn't vintage or an antique. Just someone who cashed in on her public domain images. Seems so many floral books out there must be some better to cut up.
