Thanks for your clear instructions. My impressa C65 grinder had broken down, so I replaced the whole grinder unit and did a full clean of the machine as per your video. Took some time but it makes great coffee again!

I have an Impressa C5 which looks exactly the same except it is mostly a matt finish. I have taken it apart 3 times to clean it, but not as well as you have. If I had all of your tools, I would definitely try it! Thank you for a great tutorial
Thanks for creating the video, very useful! I assembled mine after I cleaned it and everything is working fine except for the brewing mechanism, when the gears turn it is much louder now, did I not assemble something right or do I need to adjust something?
Check the drive motor, it must be installed correctly! Otherwise the motor housing may break. And for assembling the brew group see my other video: th-cam.com/video/z2cnI2h4rVE/w-d-xo.html

More silicone grease should be put on all moving parts and channels, it works smoother and wears less. changes and thus reduces costs. Great videos. I have a Jura F7 Impressa that has worked flawlessly for several years. I removed and disassembled the brew group, thoroughly cleaned it and reassembled without difficulty. Looks like new. However, the coffee only comes out in drips now. The wand flow is normal. No error messages. Thank you.
@@yt.myworks Thanks for your quick reply. I disassembled and reassembled the brew group, ran water through tap to clear air and water flow is now normal. Another issue though is that the ground coffee does not empty into into brew group but gets gets hung up in the grinder chute. I had disassembled and cleaned grinder. The calibration marks were lined up and there is no obstruction.
Super, super nice! Thank you for sharing your work, it is of tremendous help. One question I would have: is it possible to adjust the grinder to a finer setting? Would you recommend that, or is the risk of choking it too high? My machine's setting seems quite coarse, I see it on the puck which most of the times disintegrates.
Hi great video! My jura has been spraying water out of the part you remove at 19:00 I was wondering if you have any suggestions to why/ and if you think buying a new valve will help?
Fantastic tutorial .... never mind , I am sure I would have a bag of pieces left when I am done If you ever come to Canada and need a little entertainment , our machine would love a spa treatment like that too :)
Thank you for very helpful video to disassembly and overhaul the machine! I found my problem = worn out outlet valve, very similar what he shows. He is replacing the components at time of video 19:21. Anybody knows where in Canada I could buy these parts?
This has to be an award winning presentation. It is fabulous. An example of clarity , efficiency and competency. Thank you. Is it easy to get replacement panels as you indicated?
I have been using impress 55 when I was in KUWAIT and I declare it was an experience like living with good maiden . I Very see one of again my life. Here we are cheated hickory mixed coffee ,it is really not enchanting as pure coffee. Thank you all. Omar.
Hello, thank you for sharing this in such a complete and well-filmed way. I need your help at the point where the mill is assembled. At minute 9:00, after placing the springs and balls, should the iron part of the grinder be tightened by the long screw until the balls are completely squeezed until the grinder touches the plastic?
Hi. Many thanks for this great video! I've cleaned my C60 exactly as you showed and reassemble the machine accordingly. But when I turn on the machine it doesn't wash. The brew group runs smoothly and no errors. Except no water is coming out of the front. I've run the cleaning program and no water comes out of the front either. All the water runs into the grounds. Any idea what could be the problem? I replaced all the O-rings. Only not the little valve (with the red cap) as you showed in the video. Could this be the problem? I hope if you can help me. Thanks in advance.
Hi, the valve with the red cap inside is a very important element in the fluid system but I would check the brewing group first. The mold seals inside the outlet valve must point inwards. In addition, the plastic cap must not crack on the metal pin th-cam.com/video/z2cnI2h4rVE/w-d-xo.html
Fascinating. Nice work. Factory trained? Great machines, just had our E8 serviced. 6296 coffee serves in 3 years. Expensive machines to buy however worth every cent or “ rappen”
@Max Ross: Many Thanks! I taught myself everything by fixing my coffee machines. These machines can be used for a very long time with regular servicing. But as you say, a bit expensive to buy.
Dürfte ich fragen warum sie das Drainage Ventil erneuert haben? Ich habe das Problem, dass der Satz zwar feucht ist, jedoch kein Kaffee ausgegeben wird. War dies bei ihnen ähnlich?

Great fix it tutorial!! Thank you!! I have opened up my machine....the on off switch is not working. It is stuck. Ican find replacement alright . Meanwhile, I by passed the on off switch, but it short circuit the mains. What can be the problem? I noticed the electronic motherboard motherboard is a bit black. Would be great if you could point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance.
Excellent video, very helpful! You reinstalled and positioned the grinder unit at 9:25. Can you please tell me how the grind adjustment knob should be positioned? At 23:16 the knob appears to be set to medium coarseness. Thank you!
I cleaned out my machine using your guide, replaced all the o-rings in the brew unit. Now I have an issue that it doesn't brew coffee from beans. Works fine with ground coffee, no problem. It looks like water can't pass through the coffee, and every time I get a message 'Open Tap'.
I accidentally didn't assemble the brewer correctly, so the ground coffe never got wet... I just rotated the part that is the outer cylinder and then the water ended up in the ground coffee as it should.
Thanks for the video… after servicing the brew group there is a puff of air from the spouts before the coffee is discharged. Plus extra water in the discharge tank after each brew. Any idea what I might have missed?
Good video. After doing this to my machine I get low fill on grinder now. It seems that it’s way too fine of a grind on all settings, Any suggestions on what i may have done wrong.
Happened to me too, the grinder was either not properly mounted or the grinding dial not in its initial position. I would suggest opening the grinder again, put it back with extra care and put extra attention on the dial position, this video shows the right positioning, just pause the video at the right moment. Good luck!
Thank you for a very well made video. It has been extremely helpful. I have a question regarding the re-installation of the burr grinder. I marked the black dial but did not mark the fine/coarse adjustment knob. What is the relationship to the fine setting to the marks made on the white plastic pieces holding the burrs?
Very nice. What is the likely cause of a slow water leak into the drip tray and coffee grounds container (no external leak)? The machine still makes coffee fine. Thank you in advance.
Most of the time, a leaking drainage valve is responsible for the water in the drip tray. The part is mounted at the bottom of the brew group. If the seals no longer seal well, the water will run more and more into the drip tray. amzn.to/3wVTFw0
Impressive job! I'm wondering, how much would cost to restorate Impressa C9? The noozles are already closed, it makes some strange noise when trying to clean and the box of old coffee gets filled with water when running cleaning process.
Its amazing (& mesmerizing) to watch your skill at doing this! You have clearly done it so many times, you make it look effortless, when we all know its NOT, so that's a great skill you have in doing video too!! Also I appreciate you replies in the thread as to which machines/brands are using better parts etc. Its of course hard to tell from the outside of the machine where the money goes when buying one, but the complexity/simplicity of the construction gave me a new insight into this. Again thanks for making such an enjoyable video!
Thanks the video, it helped me a lot! But i have one question, my machine have a too watery coffee grounds in the container, not a discy thing. Any advice? Thx
How many grams of coffee are ground? To measure this, you’ll need to pause the brewing process so that dry coffee grounds fall into the collection container. Make sure to dry the container thoroughly beforehand. Insufficiently ground coffee leads to wet coffee grounds, as they cannot be properly compressed.
Very nice. I'm already afraid of taking apart our C5 which of course was bought as used. Sadly sometimes the water and coffee unit not transitioning, trying 2-3 times to switch from water to coffee mode but then it throws a full error. Somehow unplugging and plugging in again solves the problem but I'm afraid it will get broken and I will face a bigger problem. So I need to check it. We really love the machine. I hope I don't need to remove every single piece.🤞
@@yt.myworks Yeah that's what I'm gonna do. Managed to take off the outside cover today so I could exactly see what's the problem. The coffee holder(the small box in the middle) after grinding get stuck so the massive middle unit(with the white circular part) is trying hard to move it which causes the engine to stress and also put stress on the plastic itself. My guess is dirt or something stuck there or just broken. But sadly I really need to take it apart way more than expected. Your video will be the guide.
@@yt.myworks Any idea why the water is flowing through the frother and not the main? I can't get the coffee out of the system... Middle part is properly cleaned. Some seals have been replaced and still not working properly sadly. Did I miss some sensor or valve?
@@yt.myworks Had to buy a valve as it was completely broken. Bought a metal one. Coming tomorrow and hopefully will fix the problem. Overall I replaced 2 seals and clean the machine completely. The middle part of the machine which press the water through the coffee works seamlessly now. Let's hope the valve is the only problem now and I can finally drink a great coffee again.😊
Excellent work and service, well done. I need to open and service my one because it leaks but I don't know how to remove those screws at the back of off it. They look pretty round to me and I cannot figure out what sort of screwdriver bit did you use, would you be able to let me know, thanks in advance👍
The valve you are replacing at 19:32. Is it correct you can order a replacing valve in messing? Or do I have to look for the plastic one? Thanx for the video, it is awesome!
Hi I need your help! The brewer unit moves freely and correctly. I adjusted it to the starting position, but when I turn on, it spiraled all the way to the top and ran there, making noise and not returning to the starting position. What could be wrong?
Thank you for creating a wonderful detailed and helpful video! I was able to rebuild my Jura impress F7. I did not see any information on torque setting when reinstalling the grinder blade. How tight should the screw be that is securing the top grinder blade (with the springs and ball bearing underneath it) be? I made it quite tight when reinstalling it however the grinder seems to make a different sound than before. I question if that screw should be loose enough for there to be some play in the blade, is that correct?
Great video! Started to tear my c5 apart due to clogged/sticky spout. Made the mistake of taking the grinder apart. Put back together as in video. Or so I thought. Not it only puts out hot tea looking water. Grinds are very not ground and super wet. Any tips Or tricks?
Hi, when tightening the screw (8:55) make sure that the plastic parts fit together properly. Here there are tongue and grooves that have to be plugged together, otherwise the grinder cannot be adjusted fine enough.
Thanks so much for your videos. I have a Coffee ena 7 machine that has an error (missing tray) showing on the screen, then no buttons can be pressed anymore and I have checked the switch connected to the tray but it works fine. according to you must check at where anymore. Thanks a lot.
Hello, to be on the safe side, you can swap this microswitch with another one that is installed in the machine to see if it is really OK. You also have to check whether the drip tray actually reaches the microswitch.

Great illustration!!
Megaaaa, genau das brauche ich an meine Jura vollautomat🥲
Great video. I like your sharp memory too. Thank you Sir
I have a d6 and cannot get the spout out after unscrewing the 4 screws. It doesn't pop off at all. Do you have any videos for that machine?

what a boss, after seeing this its put me off taking the thing to bits
Thanks the video, it helped me a lot! But i have one question, my machine have a too watery coffee grounds in the container, not a discy thing. Any advice? Thx
How many grams of coffee are ground? To measure this, you’ll need to pause the brewing process so that dry coffee grounds fall into the collection container. Make sure to dry the container thoroughly beforehand. Insufficiently ground coffee leads to wet coffee grounds, as they cannot be properly compressed.
Thanks for the video, it's helped me a lot.
You have to take a lot of pictures to know afterwards how the parts were put together.
Did you connect everything to the valve correctly? Inside the valve the order is also very important 18:50.

Many thanks 🙏👍😀
Can you share the tork sizes you used? Thank you.

The valve you are replacing at 19:32. Is it correct you can order a replacing valve in messing? Or do I have to look for the plastic one?
Thanx for the video, it is awesome!
Not all plastic valves are well made, if you are not sure then buy one made of brass.
Hi I need your help! The brewer unit moves freely and correctly. I adjusted it to the starting position, but when I turn on, it spiraled all the way to the top and ran there, making noise and not returning to the starting position. What could be wrong?
Good job! It was really fascinating video!
I only tighten the screw until the grinder starts to turn slowly. Otherwise the screw thread can tear.
Great video!
Started to tear my c5 apart due to clogged/sticky spout.
Made the mistake of taking the grinder apart. Put back together as in video.
Or so I thought.
Not it only puts out hot tea looking water.
Grinds are very not ground and super wet.
Any tips
Or tricks?
@@yt.myworks Thank you very much for your guidance
🎉 Super, nach Deiner Anleitung gewartet! Hat Spaß gemacht 😊 Danke
