These are so cute! I'm having a hard time finding those little trees at DT this year but will keep looking. Our store has pretty bare shelves so far.
Everyone is buying them up I lucked out and found somebody selling a box of them on Facebook
Before I found those though I had an old artificial Christmas tree and I used some of the smaller branches to make one

2 years later I followed your tutorial with your mom for gnome Christmas tree Christmas gifts. Thank you so much love your tutorial!! Spent about 4 hours making 4 gnome trees this afternoon❤

@@jric7057 they aren't the nice ceramic boots like in this video but Target's Christmas ornament section had nice sized Santa boots that came either solid black or solid red with the belt buckle embellishment for $3 a piece. Hope that helps🙂

Did she say a Target Dollar Store??? I have no idea where to find that store..
@@cherylmoore5463 when you first walk into Target, they have what they call the "dollar spot". That is where you find the boots. I went today and my Target store had 3 colors - black, green, and light green.
I used my ankle high black cowgirl boots... size 51/2 LOL :))
Plenty in stock at Target today!
Found mine today at the dollar spot at Target also! They only had 3 left, two green and one light green

I just watched your video from October 2021 with tons of ideas to use the mini Christmas trees. I love gnomes and knew I have to make these. The hard part is finding the small boot planter, especially the attached pair boots. I found some on Etsy but they wanted way too much money for them. So I am going to buy baby-child-sized rainboots! I will paint them, glue them together, and add some cement to the bottom inside for weight (or just rocks?) And then just continue with the rest of the items. Thank you to your MOM for this great tutorial. I love it! They are going to look awesome on my porch this Christmas.

@@Lorrainebreternitz Hairy should be described as being "inspired" by your mothers gnome. I used bits and pieces of what I had, made the boots out of a couple of Pam tops and a plastic cup, and used fabric I had on hand...but I love him. And the poor baby will have mittens, can't believe I forgot them! Thank you for your sharing. Merry Christmas.
