It looks good. Lumion is nice. My renderings turn out great when using it. It can have that gamey "Lumion-ish" look but if you compose the scene well and have the right textures and models then it's a star. Looking forward to more videos from you Steven
Beautiful render! *Just a tip:* you didn't need to erase the black edge of *layer 1* starting at 13:05. That dark contour is created whenever a rendered image is imported into photoshop. To get rid of that black countour, you just need to go (inside photoshop) to: *Layer/Matting/remove black matte* (or remove white matte). You have to consider the image, because sometimes the rendered image has a white contour and in other situations has a black countour.
Bro you did a great job.... Most of us didn't think about the emotional part when we render the images just everyone want reality, but this is more realistic than anything els, thank you so much
I've always ignored lumion because that "lumion look" but watching this video you really showed a great way to get away and make the image look truly unique!
Looks really good. Doesn't feel like a render. The purpose of this render is clear enough. It's a feel good image and it's doing a great job at it. Looking at it, I doubt people would recognise it's done in Lumion.
Wow! Great work on the emotional part. I honestly think I could just stare to this image for hours. I am not sure exatly why, but this dusty view with those distant mountains works really well. And I can actually feal the heat thanks to the colors.
The first image was already great! It's pure. The buidling and the atmosphere complement each other, your imagination does the rest. To improve the first render... just adding the kid and the ladder may be enough? It could give the image a more interesting/mysterious story! (Really love your vids bdw!)
You're cool guy Steven, love the image and your sense of humor with naming it. Actually project so great that I can feel all that nostalgic you're talking about.
Nice work dude, really good. Just what I was needing. The result it's very convincing and not so lumionish... Thank you! I like "waiting for dad" so you give an explanation of what is this kid doing there hah
Wonderful image, looks more like a book cover or a movie poster rather than an architectural render - it is definitely telling a story! 'My home is my castle' maybe? The video is such a motivation to get started with Lumion.. Many thanks! :)
composition and color is good. i'm also impressed how fast lumion is. i'm a vray+3dsmax user and to set up something like this would probably take a bit longer. But i gotta say, the outcome would also look better. but still think for architects whose main job is doing architecture and not architecture viz, lumion is the better choice.
This looks nothing like a minion render. It's amazing. Pls could you make more videos on composition, color and storytelling with renders, I feel we don't think much about those aspects and focus on just trying to render our projects
How long did this take to create? I often find myself just overwhelmed with the idea of creating renders such as these due to time constraints, but this turned out so beautiful. I think I'm just going to go for it and see where I end up. Thanks!!
u could literally hand make everything in this model over the course of like 2 days of work. stop worrying about time constraints. you dont need to finish anything in any set of time. you just need to spend time to do it.
Just found out about your channel bro. VERY VERY nice content, keep it up. I have one friendly suggestion, or advice if you want. Find the audio software and mix your voice better, decrease the bass low frequencies in your voice, sometimes I can't hear you very clear, and I think that it would improve the overall quality of your videos :) Take care bro.
@@ShowItBetter I hope you'll do it. Happened that I was a music producer for years before translating into architecture and that is why that caught my ear at first :) Take care bro and just keep posting quality content. Good luck!
Steve, very very nice, and great idea to play a story going along with the process of vizualization. Perfect! There are still couple of things, which could be perfected in terms of realness. The ropes with laundry are too thick and those posts are too massive as well. On the other hand it gives the image more of fairy tale character. These are just my ideas, I am not critisizing, your work is great and I see development of what you do. Thanks a lot, keep going. Oh, the Title: What about: PANDEMIC DESOLATION
Have you done any videos using TwinMotion? I would enjoy seeing a breakdown on that as you have here. Great result and good video (mainly use TM cause it's not as hard on my PC, my frames on Lumion is horrendously bad, compared to TM)
Nice video. I notice the edge of the concrete roof and the "components" on the rooftop look a bit deformed (which is a nice detail). Is that the effect from the concrete's displacement map, or you actually manipulate the geometries? Thanks.
Muchas gracias por tus videos! Me has salvado muchas veces en la facultad! Tengo una duda, cual es el plugin que ocupas para modificar o hacer Topografia en Sketch? :0
Sir, which graphic card would you recommend for a person on a tight budget but still able to achieve like high end PC!ish and which graphic you use. thank you
Steven: Breaking down an emotional render made with lumion
Me: Emotional breakdown when rendering with lumion
Hahahaha
hahaha accurate
Dayyyyuuuummmmm~~!
hahahahaha I feel you brother

The colors ajustement at the end REALLY changed it , and turn it great .... It makes so much change 👏👍👍
Colors are everything ❤️❤️
Man, I`m feeling sooo motivated to put my heart into the images. Thanks, Steve
So glad to hear that, honestly me too ❤️
Beautiful render!

wow! thank you! did not know this!!!!!
Bro you did a great job.... Most of us didn't think about the emotional part when we render the images just everyone want reality, but this is more realistic than anything els, thank you so much
"Shades of colour...in the times of grey" is the title that struck me through the emotion conveyed in the image...
a great result ! I too think that the story telling in a rendering is more important than which engine to use
Totally agree!!
Honestly Steven! It's fantastic - and to think it was mostly done in Lumion. Can't wait for the presentation series for this particular project!
I really like it, it looks like a part of an anime or a final scene in a movie when everything is calm, great work
I've always ignored lumion because that "lumion look" but watching this video you really showed a great way to get away and make the image look truly unique!
Ya think you nailed the colors, really pleasing. Composition is really nice also.
The last two minutes really lifted this video to another level lol. Amazing content!
Looks really good. Doesn't feel like a render. The purpose of this render is clear enough. It's a feel good image and it's doing a great job at it. Looking at it, I doubt people would recognise it's done in Lumion.
soo glad that is what it looks like! Now the difficult part is in trying to make other images feel the same!
Genuinely looking forward to seeing how you transform generic architectural renders to such beautiful "childhood memories" like artwork.
You took Lumion to another level. Thanks for the tips !
I love the balance and the color grading! It almost looks like a matte painting image.
Wow! Great work on the emotional part. I honestly think I could just stare to this image for hours. I am not sure exatly why, but this dusty view with those distant mountains works really well. And I can actually feal the heat thanks to the colors.
cool that you feel that!! I think that is the hardest thing to achieve!
The first image was already great! It's pure. The buidling and the atmosphere complement each other, your imagination does the rest.
To improve the first render... just adding the kid and the ladder may be enough? It could give the image a more interesting/mysterious story!

you know what, for me its the best rendered image that you've done so far, greetings from Indonesia
You're cool guy Steven, love the image and your sense of humor with naming it. Actually project so great that I can feel all that nostalgic you're talking about.
The man, the myth, THE LEGEND! Masterful work!
Too much Pedro! haha thank you
That cropped overlay!! MAAN you are a genius!! excellent render! BTW it looks nothing like a premade lumion render
Man, You are an Artist!
So beautifull image... I feel the wind...
Love the image
the composition and colors are just outstanding
It has afilm like vibe😍
Nice work dude, really good. Just what I was needing. The result it's very convincing and not so lumionish... Thank you!
I like "waiting for dad" so you give an explanation of what is this kid doing there hah

This video is gold! Love the result a lot!! Big fan of your work Steve :)
Thanks a ton!
You have a very good eye and taste.
As you told: EMOTIONAL.
Just awsome.
Living on the edge ❤️
I love this... Hope you make more of it.
thanks Kimheng! more lumion videos coming soon!
Wonderful image, looks more like a book cover or a movie poster rather than an architectural render - it is definitely telling a story! 'My home is my castle' maybe? The video is such a motivation to get started with Lumion.. Many thanks! :)
Thank you Steven
It has the Interstellar kind of feeling XD Awesome!

Many thanks!
You do it very well is it possible to explain editing with Photoshop a little slowly? thank you
composition and color is good. i'm also impressed how fast lumion is.

totally agree!
nicely done Steven.
thanks Omar!
Thanks for the amazing tips. The render looks great. Will apply them in my next render for sure. Doesn't look lumion-ish at all. Nice job.

Wooww....just amazing ❤️🔥
thanks Ann!
Great work
Great image. You can see that on the first look. Once upon a time in the west, it could be the title of the image, like the song of Dire Straits.
thanks Stefan! really like the title option!
Nice video. I notice the edge of the concrete roof and the "components" on the rooftop look a bit deformed (which is a nice detail). Is that the effect from the concrete's displacement map, or you actually manipulate the geometries? Thanks.
thanks! I actually went back to sketchup and chamfered the edges a bit, good job on noticing!
its really awesome
thats amazing
Great work! Are the project files available to download? I'd love to apply this style to other works
thanks Joe! Not at the moment, maybe in the future!
Very good bro.
gracias!
this is awesome 🔥
I think 🤔 a good title would be: Yesterday
Its Amazing!
love it
thanks Carlo!!
Its amazing
"Now is the future"
nice one!!
I like the composition. It feels a little cardboard, but I think that not a big deal.
i think a good title would be : Horizon , The end of limits, When the Sky and earth meets.
At 12:00 you have an outline map, how did you get that into photoshop?
I set the sketchup style to hidden line view and i exported it as a png! If you want the lines to be white just press CTRL+I
Lovely 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome
Muchas gracias por tus videos! Me has salvado muchas veces en la facultad! Tengo una duda, cual es el plugin que ocupas para modificar o hacer Topografia en Sketch? :0
Can you please share configuration for the pc for such softwares ? :)
title: the modern apocalypse
I just know we can use imagw overlay that way today
DRY HOPE
A for self-irony in the end.
Cool !
How can I get black background photo for portrait scene?
The Edge of Tomorrow
My brain is breaking, how did you get the lines channel from lumion????
Sir, which graphic card would you recommend for a person on a tight budget but still able to achieve like high end PC!ish and which graphic you use. thank you
Good job as usual 👏💙
Maybe we can me it " isolation " , “loneliness " , “
How would you suggest doing a moody emotional render for a concept house that you are trying to sell?
Did someone find these curtains in 3D Warehouse? 🙏🏼
Wow that's one Amazing Render !! Please do upload it on your page so that we can you know, " See it Better " too ❤️
eline sağlık güzel olmuş
