The Paul Lynde Show (Episode 2) - Whiz Kid Sizzles as Quiz Fizzles This episode is rated TV-G and hope you enjoy watching this! All credits in the description below.
I once worked with Anson back in the 1970's. We were both on a TV show together. He could be fun at times and could also get real snappy at other times and had a quick temper, which he took out on me one time. I still think he is an alright person.
Very witty and with some sardonic quips. Almost has a Britcom feel. I saw the previous episode and someone else said it should have been called "Paul in the Family" - that's been stuck on me ever since reading that as it's great. How they didn't think of or use that at the time... too similar to "All in the Family", I'd guess... but "The Paul Lynde Show" seems too generic and the content is a lot better than what the usual "The ________ Show" generic title format sells it as being.
I was born in 1970 so I didnt even know this show ever existed for a brief season! I have always loved Paul Lymde from game shows & Bewitched❣ Thanks for the uploads‼️
Pamelyn was in that episode of Star Trek where the demon possessed kids took over the ship in season 3. I adore how this episode has a fictional game show where the contestant, his son in law, is doing one-liners that Paul rips on. The whole episode has me in hysterical laughter with its use of wit and quips, I'd the rest of the show is this good then I'll wonder why it lasted only one season.
I know most people are here for Paul Lynde, but i am here for Elizabeth Allen because i used to listen to Do I Hear a Waltz? Cast Album all the time. This show is very weird…Paul Lynde was like a tornado onstage, he was a funny guy mos def but not a strong actor…there are lots of moments of unreal/pushed behavior and reactions. They dont seem like believable or realistic people. Maybe if it was a period piece, the over the top delivery and pacing would have landed better. That said, i am still loving this, haha!
Oh finally, Paul Lynde!!! He is by farthe best comedic actor ever!!!!! I loved him in Bewitched!!!! He is so funny!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.... He played a driving instructor, fo Samantha.. Then he became, Uncle Arthur!!!! He was the best, ever!!!
I love Paul Lynes and the show is written and performed well. But the opening credits are hard to watch. PL looks like he’s in agony performing these stunts.
I love Paul Lynde but I can see why this show flopped... He is a little bit over the top for a sitcom, but absolutely brilliant and perfect with his one-liners on Hollywood Squares...

DVR recording?
This was fabulous episode PAUL WAS FANTASTIC WITH SMART SLOW SON IN LAW. LOVED IT
That’s what I thought!
@ Greatest Short Lived Classics and Lost TV, It sure must be difficult finding these shows; do you plan on uploading any more of them?
Well I don’t have access to antenna tv anymore, but they used to air in that network.
This was a very good show. I think the fact that it had to compete against The Carol Burnett Show and Adam 12 sealed it’s fate.
Yes, if it had been in another time slot, against weaker competition, it might have lasted a few more seasons. This show was hilarious !
I didn't remember this show, but I definitely remember the Corol Burnett show.
Listen to that audience; they love Paul Lynde!
Wonderful. 💖💖. These uploads are very much appreciated as they are almost impossible to find. Thank you 😍👍
That is Anson Williams from the future Happy Days show as Jimmy.

I thought he looked like Potsie
@@mikelastname1220 That's interesting; did you work on other shows or sitcoms, perhaps?
@@MrMenefrego1 No, this was for a local telethon in Kentucky.
@@mikelastname1220 It's still a fascinating story; the only famous person I ever met was Brian Johnson of AC/DC fame.
I wish they would release the Paul Lynde show to DVD or streaming.
“Ya looney! Looney! Oh let me get the looney!!!!” lol 😂
This is such a great show- can't believe that it was so short lived.

Wow! The outfits that middle-age women wore back in the early 1970s....
I was born in 1966..
This is all new to me
Wow...I see they incorporated a few of the filming sets from Bewitched Season 8- The kitchen specifically.
Masters in Oceanography ✨😁✨
Thank you for sharing these episodes ❤️.
Paul Lynde was the best man in comedy he and Robin Williams ! For females Lucy Carol and Lily were the best at comedy !
omg.. this set is bob newhart's country inn..

I love watching these episodes, but i disagree that they are good, lol.
Wow!!!😂
This show would have been a hit if they gave it more time.
Room 222 it’s a fun show From Fox Tristar Television Distribution.
LOL Oh how I miss comedic shows like this......

Paul had a great act, Jane Actman was gorgeous
I didn’t know this show existed.
❤😂🎉
Dickerson is a perfect name for him.
Potsie left the door open & all the cold air out
I also love Betty White for comedy !
This funny show is on par with *ALL in the FAMILY* . Paul Lynde and Carroll O'Connor, dealing with their no-load son-in-laws, is hilarious.
I love this show! I too noticed the similarities with this show and All in the Family. I wished it had a longer run.
That drawing of Paul Lynde on the credit slide looks nothing like him.
I was wondering can you upload ‘’The Paul Williams Show’’ NBC TV 1979 movie if you have it? I would love to show it to mr Williams
That jimmy! He's such a Potsie!
Paul lynde is great on the Hollywood squares the dean martin veriety show and roasts
Do they have to talk so loud on the show? I like Paul Lynde's humor.
The early days of television were like plays. The actors spoke louder.
It was done before a live audience.
Do you think you can upload some other classics, like long lived ones like The Millionaire and Our Miss Brooks?
Sure, I was thinking about uploading classics with more seasons but yeah sure and I will try to see if I could upload some our Miss Brooks episodes
Nice!
Potsy who later stars on Happy Days, in this episode appears as Jimmy, PL’s youngest daughter’s friend.
It's Potsie, from Happy Days!!!!!!❤❤❤❤... 👏👏👏👏....
I love Paul Lynde but I can see why this show flopped... He is a little bit over the top for a sitcom, but absolutely brilliant and perfect with his one-liners on Hollywood Squares...
That and this show just wasn't written very well, especially the characters Paul has to play off of.
Anson williams was already 23, looks like he's playing 17 or 18
Jimmy is potsy from happy days
I'd have never known. Thanks!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sarcasmo and a sexy middleaged liz allen
Zany gay closeted Republican wants son-in-law out of house.
I don't blame him, his son in-law is a douche.
The shows intro theme sucks....
Wrong
@@Soundofsilence-j4d right!!
When the writers could not come up with a funny bit the ho to for this show was to have Paul fall into the pool.
No other reason for that pool to be there, and no other sitcom filmed before an audience had a pool as part of its set.
Little Anson Williams.
