    I know what a bear metal dust is with a concrete floor - can't imagine with your gravel! This will be a great unsung hero of a tool in your arsenal. Nice job Ron!

      Im glad you like the different content, i get into all kinds of different projects, unfortunately youtube doesnt seem to like variety from a channel and they dont promote odd stuff like this on my channel as much as the standard videos.
      The channel is growing, but not as fast as id like..lol
      Tomorrows video is season 4 and we got some great ideas and changes that are gonna happen!

    I like it a lot.
    Of course after different uses you’ll think of stuff.
    A simple immediate thot, get the CFM off the fans and size your vent holes to that.
    Blade fans don’t cause a vacuum so you want to be close to just slightly large for max. draw.
    My thot is you will have more smoke draw.
    Also a dump pan for the dust to collect in.
    These are just touches that may help.
    It’s a great design though.
    Great idea.
    Thanks
    Roger

    • @FabbinAdventures
      @FabbinAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it will work fine, i didnt bother with a dump pan because its not gonna see huge use and will likely only need yearly cleaning. Pull the front panel, replace filters and sweep dust and crap into a dust pan

    • @FabbinAdventures
      @FabbinAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      About the only mod i would do is make the grinding surface have a magnetic hold for small sheet metal or other projects. You can get magnetic door lock strips and inlay them in the top. Place your steel part down, flip a switch and have the part magnetically held down. I may do this mod yet.

    Good Job I need to build me one I do a lot of grinding . But I need to have a vice to hold a lot of pieces I grind so I believe I need to make back and sides taller. any suggestions would be appreciated.

    • @FabbinAdventures
      @FabbinAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, what i would change, (and i thought of doing it at the time but didn't) would be an electromagnetic vice to hold stuff while grinding, i may still do that, other wise it works great!

    This is awesome. I'm working on something similar. I'm ducting a heavy duty shop fan and using an old filing cabinet as a starting point. I built a booth out of a fence to go over it. Think there's any issue with using it for painting as well as for grinding? Thanks. Btw I much prefer your channel over the fab series guy.
