This is good to hear, but it’s kind of discouraging when people say “ women need emotional connection to feel attracted” and just always assume that no attraction is because of emotional reasons when you have a lot of women who are physical creatures in the way that you think men would be. And less emotional. What if the man is the one who is more emotional ?

Think I'm wired like a guy. And my husband has been trying to re wire me like a woman and now he doesn't like the natural consequences

I'm always a little leery when folk in marriage workshops in at ask, "How often should I be intimate with my spouse?"
It always sounds like, "I feel awkward and I want someone else to say what the bare minimum is that I need to do."
All research aside, the most interesting answer I ever heard was, "whatever your time period that you measure with- months or weeks - be intimate one more time per period than you are currently doing. Push yourself to be bolder, kinder, more loving. Don't ask what the minimum is. Increase the minimum you put out, look to maximize your marriage."

How about an exception if you don't enjoy sex but love your spouse?

No one wants sex to be one more item on the chore list.

Your failing to address a very important issue nowadays. If intimacy was great and then your husband ruined it by being unfaithful and doing porn and ruined your feelings for him then the husband has sabotaged the marriage. The problem is when a husband or wife are unfaithful and hurt the spouse and their intimacy. The only way a husband or wife can fix the marriage is to truly repent to God and truly change and seek to be godly and truly fix the marriage by being faithful and building the trust again by truly changing and loving their spouse. They have to repent and put God FIRST.
