ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 1 ส.ค. 2024
- A comprehensive, yet simple, and easy to follow guide for the care of giant centipedes.
If you've recently purchased a giant centipede, or are considering it, this video will highlight the basic information you'll need to properly care for one.
In it, I'll discuss basic facts about them, as well as how to house them (terrarium size and setup).
I'll also give pointers about heating, humidity and their diet.
The video closes off with footage of feeding - so you'll want to stay for that!
Giant centipedes are not for everyone, but they really are fascinating animals, and they make a very unique pet for people who are not put off by their unusual nature and appearance.
It is important to be cautious and aware of the fact that these animals are highly venomous, and their sting can not only be extremely painful, but can also result in extreme medical emergencies.

I recently got a Vietnamese giant centipede. So far hes doing amazing and is the most aggressive bug i have ever seen
Thats what makes them so cool though. I have a lot of fast, and typically aggressive tarantulas, but theyre soft and cuddly compared to centipedes in my opinion.
@@ItsAaronRose yeah. The pet store was scared of the centipede so I had to get him out myself. I'm surprised he was only $35
@@spinoboi96lol, theyre actually not legal for sale here, so wont find them in any pet shops. Canada is pretty lame.
This is something that im thinking about purchasing at the next invert show coming up
Theyre awesome. Unfortunately not legal for sale here in Toronto. But really cool pets when you can find them. Just dont actually "pet" it. 😂
@@ItsAaronRose oh im in London uk, their ok over here, just need a DWA licence for black widows, but you can have sand spider !👍
