- This time the Plateau will be far more useful then it ever was...can we beat all 4 Divine Beasts and the finale using only loot from this area? I hope you all enjoy this unique themed run of Breath of the Wild!! :)

U could do a korok only run, the special challenge is getting the special sets and u can use the master sword if u want

Croton u can also do monster themed runs like lizal run or boko run
Imagine someone goes, “I’m going to do a great plateau gear only run” and within five minutes has a 78 damage Lynel crusher
@@isaacmilgram805 I think it's because the major test of strength is a one time thing and the Lynel is farmable
@@kitkatboard Is it not? I farm test of strength guardians that respawn after a blood moon.
@@isaacmilgram805 regardless, he never used his only 60 power weapon from that test of strength. The second highest was the claymore with 35.
@@MattMorency That was so sad, but still wouldn’t be as interesting to watch if he had just annihilated Ganon in 10 seconds with that axe.
@@kitkatboard the major test of strength only spawns after restoring the four divine beasts. It’s also something that happens on both normal mode and master mode as the lynel only spawns in master mode.

FYI you can cook wood. Cook the wood one at a time, and you'll get rock hard food. It heals 1 quarter.

@@VioletMilks im confused, how would rock hard food help with master trials instead of plain food
@@Jords250 tldr the master trials take away all your resources and you can only cook with and eat what you collect in the trials. cooking wood is easy because you can blow up all the trees.

I actually use this sometimes in base game when I want to have something to heal exactly 1 HP
Much easier than foraging for nuts

I recently finished a challenge to beat as many shrines as I could: a) without using the 4 runes (except where necessary in the plateau shrines) b) without using the glider c) without killing any enemies d) without spending any spirit orbs.
Think I got to around 64 shrines beaten by the end with those restrictions.
That's actually really insane 😮 it must have taken a lot of creatively to solve those challenges then!
@@Croton it’s actually possible to complete 112ish of the 120 shrines in the base game completely without the use of runes, and two of the four divine beasts!

It was my first time playing and by my 7th real life day I had a full set of soldier gear, helmet, trousers, bows, shields, and weapons
You should do a Mob-Loot only run.
You can only use loot that has a mob in its name, for example, the Boko club and the Lizal Spear could be a weapon, same with shields and so on.
Armor can be obtained from Robbie, or can be traded with Kilton. The only exception is Mandatory loot.
If you would like to make the challenge hard, you may only survive on food that mobs drop, such as the Octorocks(is that how you spell it?) drop fish and so forward.
Another possible rule is that you can only sell monster parts for rupees to obtain potions.
And finally, another, is all arrows must be obtained from mobs. That'll also be difficult.
If you end up choosing this, good luck!! Keep making these runs, they're really fun and inspiring :D
What about a pacifist run? Beat it all without killing any living thing (so it doesn’t include robots or blights)
Bro, how do you beat a Zelda game without killing the Ganon and anyone?? There'd have to be a twist or insane glitches..

You can kill robots (so all the guardian variants) and blights/Ganon but nothing else

@@cidercake4373 no you beat the game including all divine beasts without killing any animals or creatures like bokoblins, lizalfos, moblins, lynels, hinoxes, moldugas, etc
You can still kill Taluses, guardians and their variants, the blights, and ganon

you can really tell croton has been playing undertale for the rg run and finished then moved on to deltarune during this one. THE MUSIC BETRAYS YOUR THOUGHTS, SALAD MAN! :D great vid. loved every inch of it.

I did a mage run myself, was lots of fun. Everyone knows mages are squishy so I wasn't allowed to get more hearts until stamina was maxed out, and even then I didn't really get a lot, and armour could only be upgraded twice. I did allow myself the usage of staffs/spears along with magic, but I was only allowed to cook elixirs. Fun fact - you can add food to an elixir recipe so long as you use both monster parts and bugs/critters so long as they don't have a special effect that goes against the other ingredients
You should do an only shrine loot run it would be incredible, I love these runs :)
Even thought there are alot of shrines i wonder if you still run the risk of running out of good weapons
@@Gatekid3 hmm but the enemies in shrines redrawn every blood moon so you wouldn't run out of those weapons I guess
@@theartistinthebasement6647 but if you are saying shrine loot, id imagine chest only. there are alot of shrines, so you could maybe try to survive off of shrine chests, but each shrine only has maybe 1-2 chests, so it might be super tedius

It would probably be more interesting if it was with shrine enemies because shrine chests are normally arrows and ancient looot plus armour so he would have like five or six weapons

So far he’s been able to wind bomb perfectly, beat the game dozens of times, and I’m pretty sure he’s completed an amiibo run before! He’s only 11 but he’s a master in my eyes :D

What about a Champion themed run? You can only use the weapons that each Champion specailized in (Zora spears, Goron 2-handed, Rito bows, Gerudo 1-handed and shield). For armor, how about what Link's Champion outfit: the Champion Tunic and Hylian Trousers? It's up to you if you use Champion abilities.

Idea: Monster drop only run
You can pick up the tree branch at the beginning and armor/mats can be picked up
I’m doing something similar: A monster weapon only run. With nighttime stealth, not even the tree branch is needed. I am allowing bombs though

Ironic, the normal mode is the harder mode this time instead of the master mode. Great video still!
to be fair, if not for the lynel, master mode would be really hard because of the enemies regenerating health (which would be hard to deal with with low-damage weapons)

The incorporation of the dlc plateau was something i did not think of until you mentioned it! I think its cool that you did the dlc plateau, as none of your previous challenges have warranted it. Keep up the great work!

Croton, you should do a hero’s run. You can only use the champion shirt and hyrulian pants as that is what link wore. You have to get the master sword and whatever bow link used. You have the get the chaimpions shirt max leveled by fairy too. I hope you think about this one

I got the game for christmas too!! just like 5 years ago lmao, i picked up the game again recently and started a master mode save file, its hard but fun at the same time. would reccomend if you have the dlc!

I love these runs, they're so fun to watch! Another run you could maybe do is Yiga only run, so it'd be shiekah outfit dyed red and their weapons and stuff. Might be difficult cause they don't use shields.
For the next challenge run could you do a champion one.
My explanation:
All divine beast and finale must be completed
The trial of the sword and champions ballad must be completed
Only champion weapons and armour can be equipped
The four champion weapons can’t be repaired
Champion and link amibos are allowed to be used
Items like Zora armour are allowed for mission they are required in
how would you complete the trial of the sword without champion weapons? the early stages only let you use sticks and clubs
also I'm assuming you'd be allowed to use the master sword, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get the first divine beast boss kill

In master mode, enemies too get harder, so that's the reason great weapons are there in start

What about a potion only challange? It's pretty self-explanitory. No food, only potions. Additional rules could make it harder, however, that is up to you.
Before watching wouldn't it technically still count if you have a Rock Octorock clean a rusty sword, I mean it came from the Great Plateau? Just curious.
Depending on perspective, possibly! Personally I omit rusty weapon cleaning from my runs for consistency's sake, plus it would bend my rules in my eyes

The fact I tried this challenge months before is weird, but i'm happy someone actually did it.
I have a great idea. The choice run. Before the run start, you choose one weapon (boko club, drillshaft, etc.), one shield, one bow (you can grab an infinite amount of these 3 weapon) and an armour (it can be from the same set (Zora set or any other set) or 3 random armor (for example, an ancient helm, the dark tunic and radiant tights)). The rules are: you choose a place to kill all the enemies (colosseum, hyrule Castle, etc.), you can use runes and you have to choose a challenge you want to do (collect every koroks, find every sanctuary, do the run damageless, etc.).
A great idea for a new run is a shrine loot only run. There is a lot of good, non-renewable sources of stuff in those shrines, so it would be fun to watch you ration materials, like you did in the run! I love these challenges, and they even inspired me to do monster only run. Keep up the great work!

Here's a good run idea I think you may enjoy and I've done this run myself too. Its a korok only run where you have to use only korok related weapons which are the forest dweller sword, spear, bow, and shield, the korok leaf, and the boomerang. Also you can wear any sort of gear but you must wear the korok mask, get back Hestu's maracas, do all shrines in the lost woods, and find at least 200 koroks. And obviously mandatory gear and champion abilities are allowed. Hope you like the idea and have a great day and I enjoy all you're videos!
