Congrats on the sale of the house. I think it would be cool if you could drive by every couple of months and take a couple of pics from the road to document the transformation of the house.
That green glass vase on the shelf looks like it could be uranium glass - worth checking to see if it glows if you shine an ultra violet light on it. It’s quite collectible, if it is.
It was fun watching the hoarder house series. I sure hope the new owners fix it up. They have a lot of work to do, but it could be a really nice place. I hope to see it posted one day.
Interesting collection of Stuff, def varied... That Heath Oscilloscope, was made in Benton Harbor Michigan (SW crn). They made a lot of quality electronics, but also sold kits (Heathkit) you soldered together: Ham radio, hifi's, receivers, tools, early computers, etc. Always was great stuff! Merry Christmas, & Thanx !
Well done Isaac! What a series! I could smell that crusty house from across the internet. Looking forward to your new adventures, whatever they may be.
That Heath Oscilloscope was actually a kit that somebody built. The Heath Company sold DIY electronics kits for decades running the gambit from simple crystal radios for educational use and kids to full professional-grade pieces of equipment. The advantage was, if you were handy, a high-end, feature dense device could be had for a fraction of the price of a pre-built unit. You didn't need any special technical knowledge to build a Heathkit but you did need to be mechanically inclined and familiar with hand tools and soldering. Heath's step-by-step instructions told you exactly what to do in simple language anybody could understand.
@@DanEBoyd At least that, probably. If not more. As a scope it is pretty obsolete these days. It's only a "single trace" unit, not a dual trace. Still, somebody might pay a couple bucks for it to put on their shelf or something. Although, it's pretty beat up so a Heathkit collector probably wouldn't be too interested. But you never really know then, do you? I guess it would depend on rarity. But they're also filled with vacuum tubes, tube sockets, and plenty of other potentially salvageable parts that hobbyists might find useful whether it works or not.
14:00 that is an old Lowrey Organ! Cool! Nice video too! It’s cool to see a place like this sort of stuck in time. I hope you keep or sell those old TVs. 19:41 oh awesome! I’d love to hear an update on the place. And that’s great that your selling to someone who is gonna fix it up!
If you use a black light on some of the green glass wares and it glows you might have some uranium and Vaseline glass from the Great Depression and it’s very very valuable so I strongly strongly recommend checking it Ike.
Interesting and creepy at the same time. It would be nice if you cruised by it in about a year and see what the new owners have done with it. Merry Christmas Isaac and a Happy New Year!
Great episode to end the series! Congrats on the sale of the house.. Love seeing the family dynamics between you and Jason. Thanks for sharing... Keep em coming....
There were a lot of antiques in there and the vintage clothing and accessories are worth money in places like Nashville and costume designers for TV and movies.
Isaac, when I was a kid old people used to keep money in pockets and sleeves in old clothes. Check all that stuff! Especially in the closets. Good luck! Hope you make a small fortune over there!
If I lived on that side of the pond, I'd have given the vacuum cleaners a home, old stuff is the best stuff, cos it lasts unlike modern junk, the greeny-blue IEC Compact hiding away there being the better of the lot which if the shipping didn't suck, I'd have bought off you to send to the UK, awesome vacs they are... :)
Congrats on the sale of the house! I hope you did well in your venture. Hoarder clean-ups are my favorite thing to watch. I'm not sure if I could have spent the night or not, but I if I did, I would've had my own tent. Just seeing 3 people in that one seriously triggered my claustrophobia 😬
Some of the white vases might be milk glass= collectible. Also, the oil lamps if they are Aladin lamps, they had a different wick system that put out white light instead of the more common yellow light, the Aladin's are very collectible.
I really enjoyed the hoarder how serious it was actually pretty cool! And it’s good to see you and your brother doing things together. Looks like you guys have a lot of fun. Congrats on the sale though can’t wait to see where this leads one sold. Hopefully you’ll make some money and be able to do more cool stuff wishing you and the guys a merry Christmas and a happy new year.👍🏼🤩❤️
Always nice to be able to make some money Ike! Especially right now when our economy is pretty bad off! Smart guy! It's a good time to unload some of these things you've been holding on to and turn them into useful cash. Yes Sir it sucks when someone entrusted you to their life's property and savings but that place needs much more work and money to get it back to a livable home again, that I'm sure you wouldn't have time or interest to be doing with so much other things going on in life right now? I wish you and your brother the best of luck with the sale man! And as always bro, safe travels back home!
That yellow toy car is a De Tomaso Mangusta. That Electrolux vacuum cleaner looks like an older one we had during my childhood. Fun fact, we had an Electrolux factory in my hometown. Sadly it closed down in 2005 and production moved abroad. They shut down right before my graduation resulting in me not getting the job I was promised. Weird times.
It would be nice if you go back to this house just to see if the buyers actually remodeled the house and do a new video of at least the outside of property... Here's Hopeing! 😉

But a little sad to see the house go have to admit it was one fun episodes watching y'all go through that when the bats were after you the screaming and such LOL
Why did you open that photo album, come to that single photograph then say “no, I’m gonna leave that alone”? I paused it and zoomed in. It looked like an old photo of a man.
still, cleaning up the hurt, huh Issac, ? ever ask yourself what turn of events made something come your way bubby?. love ya, Issac, may life shower you with all you need to make the world a better place bubby. somebody has to pick up the pieces if not it would leave a layer all over the earth for the archeologist to find pain works like that. something tells me you have been cleaning up after others from the start in some manner. your mother raised a fine southern man.
Awesome outro! Maybe could've put in one of those dolls lol! Don't be disappointed though that's what most people have stored is a bunch of junk.

you might want to put a Geiger counter (or at least flash a black light) on your green glassware, it just look like the rigth era for U colouring ;)

I like the idea of using tents inside that creepy house, instead of just sleeping bags on the floor. Guaranteed to keep out ghosts and zombies! 😉
and bats!!
That mid-century modern turquoise chair restored can be couple thousand dollars

Best ending ever! Creepy and perfectly matched to the song, the series helped “light up my life” .
Cheers as always!
Happy for you that you sold the house Ike. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Not to mention those bats, but that book alone and those dolls would've been not a no, but a HELL NO, for me.

I'll bet that baby is worth at least a couple hundred dollars if it works.
Think my Grandpa built his own Heathkit stereo receiver.

Yes you should do more videos like this Isaac...they are so cool and interesting
@20:56, my mom had one. They run but, Good Luck with trying to find filter bags!
Lock Isaac in a room with all of the creepy babies and the bats for 24 hours and see if he survives.

The bottle on the mantle that has a light green tint with the cork in it is uranium glass. Very collectable
Nice video ike and Jason those creepy doll heads make good night lights
Thanks for the video! Glad carsandcameras is back!
Edit: thanks for the heart!
You should ask the new owners if you can come back to see the place when they are through fixing it up.
This kinda had me a little weepy, good bye old house and I hope the new owners do right by you !🏡❤Have a Merry Christmas you guys and your family!
Those old tube TVs sell for quite a bit nowadays. Even not working.
Hoarding sucks but it sure is interesting seeing what people hang on to sometimes.
i seen people turn old wood box tvs into fish tanks
@@camlawn I've seen people retrofit flat screens into them and use them.
Hope you're doing well. Good video .
The squeaky horn woke up my pug 🤣
Pocketbooks depending on the make and of course the beating that's on them if it's hand done can be pricey
the bemco calendar and the purse at 3:19 do you still have? are you willing to sell them? i am interested in purchasing if available!
Probably
There is zero doubt that’s your brother. He has the same Speech patterns as you. If you close your eyes it’s like your talking to yourself.
Green bottle topper @9:25 is pretty valuable. $25 bucks or so on FB marketplace.
Nice, Issac! Pleaseeee buy a modern daily, like a F250 or something useful.
Fords built after Henry died are trash.
Why? He has a dozen different vehicles already, if anything he needs to sell about 5 of them.
Why?
I have that exact model Electrolux Vaccuume- I inherited from my Grandmother! It still works like a champ!
great stuff guys thanks
10:07 I wonder how high he would have jumped if that little doll suddenly said, "Dada!"? 😂
I'd have checked inside the vacuum cleaner as it would have made a brilliant hiding place!!
Back to West Virginia to do some work on that one? I'd lurrrrrve that! ?
Use a blacklight on some of the glass to see if its old radium glass. it will glow a greenish color
👍👍👍👍👍 Merry Christmas everyone.
